    Doing demo for a new kitchen. Raising the header to get half of the family room ceiling back to 9ft+ and my love gets her 2nd floor laundry since it’s all gonna be opened up. Lets HOPE...The roof... the roof... the roof it stays up! Lol"
    Also is raising a header permitted?
