    People are using the shoulder of the road at Adams Fairacre Farm as a turning lane. If one turns from the traffic lane, one risks being hit by a car traveling on the shoulder. This is a dangerous situation. Either mark the shoulder as off limits or put in a right turn lane for the safety of everyone!

    The burlington parking lot with dollar tree and the pizzeria parking lot really needs to be redone with parking curbs and some stop signs and painted lines. So many people almost get hit just trying to walk to one of these stores from their car because the driving traffic is HORRIBLE. No way to direct where to drive and not drive and no crosswalks!!!!

    Too many selfish and lazy people park in the fire lane in front of the building making it difficult and dangerous to pass by and find a legal parking space. Walmart management doesn't care to do anything about it.

    When the adjacent railroad crossing is in use, ALL traffic at this intersection receives a red light.

    Traffic southbound on John M. Clark Drive could safely go straight (into Office Depot) or turn left onto Boices Lane while a train is passing. The traffic light should be configured to permit this.

    Because the light isn't set for this, one of two things happen: Traffic backs up unnecessarily on Clark Drive, or people run the red light. They shouldn't have to run a red light in this circumstance.

    The rightmost lane of Boices Lane westbound has been crumbling for years. It periodically gets patched, but it quickly turns back into a washboard surface.

    Drivers trying to avoid this often straddle the lanes, sometimes unexpectedly, causing a traffic hazard.

    Boices Lane is marked as a county highway. The County should perform roadbed repairs and repave this stretch. The patch jobs aren't working. Stop wasting money on pothole patches and fix the underlying problem!

    There has been a rash of jumpers on this bridge in the past few years, and one occurred just yesterday.

    The Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge was recently renovated a few years ago.

    Why were no fences installed along the edges of the bridge to prevent people from jumping off to commit suicide?

    I can't believe nobody thought to have fences installed here!

    It's the same thing with the new Highland River Walkway over the Hudson! No fences were installed here either! I am shocked at the lack of forethought on this matter!

    The parking lot at the staples/Burlington Coat factory is a traffic mess! With no curbing, directional arrows, or even "road/lanes" markings It becomes a free for all getting in and out of there!
    I honestly cant see how the place EVER got a C of O from the building dept, and highway dept with a lot like that! But yet they still tell the owners how many handicap spaces they need!
  • Grant Street - Lake Katrine
    I often walk my dog in the park on Grant Street. For years, this was a well kept neighborhood. The park was a safe, clean place to visit. However, during the last year, the park is unkempt, full of cigarette butts, trash, dog feces, food etc. Teenagers have sex there in broad daylight. There are always two to four large tow trucks, parked the wrong way on the street, and it seems that the residents of the house repair cars and store the debris (tires, oil, parts) in the driveway. Often there are other large ATVs and other commercial vehicles there. It looks like a used car lot or a gas station. It is an eyesore. I feel bad for the people who take great pride in the upkeep of the neighborhood as the houses are VERY close. If I lived there, I would constantly complain until this is cleaned up as it devalues the houses around it.

    The consant garbage on the side of the road leading to Sam's and Lowes and the Target entrance to the mall is a disgrace. Why cant the stores or the County keep this area clean? It reflects horribly on the county.
