    There is a pile of trash covering the driveway and falling out into the street. It contains furniture, carpet, carboard and general bags full of garbage. It has been there 3 weeks. We were promised it would be cleaned up but it is becoming a haven for rodents!

    We just had our roads repaved and the corner at Sunnyside and Alsace is a monumental problem. The water is now standing in over half the road. Much deeper than we have ever had before. It will not drain. We have lived here 25 years and it has never been this bad. The repaving has corrected one problem but created a much worse problem. This is not safe for the elderly that walk and ride bikes in this community, this is a monumental hazard. Someone is going to get hurt. Elderly can't even get to their mailboxes without having to step ankle deep in water on Sunnyside. Thank you in advance for looking into this unsafe hazard that was created by Sarasota County paving the roads.

    The canal that runs along our property has a lot of organic debris along with some trash and a pallet obstructing proper water flow. We cleaned out the trash the best we could with a pool net but we can’t clean up the rest and hope the county can come clear the rest. We are used to seeing wildlife here and can tell there’s been a big impact since it’s all gunked up.

    After a short rain this morning, still this evening at 5pm water sits on this newly paved road the county fixed. Now we have water sitting issues. Makes this area a huge hazard for people walking in this community.

    After hours of rain. It will not drain. This is a huge safety issue. Can we please get someone out there to look into this. Repaving made a worse issue. You can not even get to your mailbox without stepping into water. This is a accident waiting to happen, caused by Sarasota county paving the roads causing flooding that never been like this before sitting water on road that will not drain. This is corner of Alsace Ave and Sunnyside Drive. Please help.
