Notified About

  • Hall Palmer and Vanderburgh, Larchmont, NY - Larchmont
Cars are driving far in excess of the speed limit when turning from Palmer onto both Vanderburgh Ave and Hall Ave. Drivers are not paying attention and are putting children playing in Turtle Park and people attempting to cross Vanderburgh at risk. Stop signs or speed bumps are desperately needed before someone gets hit again.
  • Traffic Light Acknowledged
9 Chatsworth Ave Larchmont, NY 10538 - Larchmont
Can someone explain why there are no leading left turn signals at Post and Chatsworth and Post and Larchmont? There always seem to be a problem driving through those two intersections because cars from both ways want to turn left.
  • Maple Ave Larchmont, NY 10538 - Larchmont
For a few days now, a continuous, heavy stream of water has been burbling up from a hole in the curb at the corner of Maple and Beach in the Manor. The water is running down Beach toward Hazel, making huge ponds. I see some orange cones have been set up around the flood, but I wonder what more is being done. Is this a water main break? Over-active sump? If we were to have a frost, we'd have a real skating rink.
  • Concorde Avenue Larchmont, NY 10538 - Larchmont
There is a large section of gravel and potholes at the corner of Concorde and Chatsworth Avenue. It has been there since some of the gas lines were replaced along Chatsworth. Also, there is a gas smell, especially in the morning.
  • Forest Park Ave And Hall Larchmont - Larchmont
    1. Do the width of the sidewalk; clearing a foot-wide path is lazy - it's hard to walk and strollers are screwed. 2. If you live on a corner, do out to the street. Why should people have to negotiate a mountain next to your house? 3. If you go south for the winter, contract someone to keep your walks clear. You might not be here, but the rest of us are. C'mon people, just because you might never walk on your own sidewalks, think about your neighbors.
  • encroaching bushes Acknowledged
    Larchmont Ave - Larchmont
Bushes should be kept trimmed to property. You can barely walk down this sidewalk.
  • Soundview Dr Larchmont, NY - Larchmont
Multiple streets intersecting at Stuyvesant Ave. need pedestrian crossings and better signage. There are many walkers and no sidewalks - too dangerous, especially for the children walking to school.

  • 1 Rockhill Terrace Larchmont, NY 10538, USA - Larchmont
here is another example where it is difficult to walk on the sidewalk because of bushes that overgrow the sidewalk both on the Larchmont Ave and on the Rockhill sides of this house...
these are thick evergreen bushes which are growing progressively over the sidewalk.
this homeowner should cut them back so we can use the sidewalk.
