Dangerous Intersection Archived18980 Jensen Way Northeast Poulsbo, Washington - Poulsbo
Request the City consider addressing the dangerous intersection at Front St. and Jensen Way NE in Downtown Poulsbo. If you are coming up from the Waterfront Park parking lot towards the 4 way stop, there is a significant blind spot looking around the building at 18961 Front St. Recently, with Viking Fest and over the past few weeks, I've noticed a number of near accidents. Maybe the City would consider installing lights such as those used on merge lanes to interstates to space/alternate cars going through the intersection. Alternatively, maybe the City would consider making King Harald V Vei/Anderson Parkway one-way. Looking forward to your response and other Community members' feedback/suggestions/comments.
Thanks for all your great work!

Street/Traffic Lights- Poulsbo ArchivedNw Finn Hill Rd & Olhava Way Nw Poulsbo, WA, 98370, USA - Poulsbo
Good afternoon,
I have a concern about a traffic light that I travel by everyday to get home. I have seen this issue for as long as I can remember. On the intersection pictured there is a light turning left from the bottom of the hill of Olhava Way NW from Walmart. Then there is a light to go straight on Finn Hill Rd. I have noticed that cars that are turning left blow past the light and the light quickly turns green for those traveling straight.
I think it's worth looking for a resolution on this one. 😊
Thank you for your time!

Danger to Pedestrians Archived18971 Front St Ne Poulsbo, WA 98370, USA - PoulsboWalking down Front St. to downtown, we are routinely thwarted by large vehicles blocking the pedestrian path. With the amount of traffic we get down this main corridor and attitude of drivers today, it can be difficult to safely walk around these vehicles. This report was sparked by nearly getting clipped by car speeding through town at night.

Other Archived18777 9th Avenue Northeast Poulsbo, Washington - PoulsboAccess to 9th Avenue is not accessible from 305 turning West onto Hostmark. Concrete median for the turn lane comes down Hostmark to far. Some of the concrete dividers, I believe 16 should be removed. Customers accessing/supporting the 6 businesses on 9th avenue cannot get to the businesses. If there were a fire down 9th avenue the fire department would have to find an alternate route coming off of 305. Removing some of the barriers would address the access to 9th avenue, while leaving the remaining barriers in place would still adequately provide turn lane control approaching 305. The businesses on 305 have access off of 305 would not be affected. Turning West onto Hostmark from the business are where Los Cabo's Tequila's is located could be kept at no left turn. The only item that would have to be addressed is removal of some or the concrete dividers. This would take care of the "access" issue for 9th Avenue.
