Brentwood Area

The old hotel that was here has been in decline for years, I know I have complained about it several years ago and was told that changes were coming, but that has not happened and I doubt they ever will. It such an eyesore and hazard to the area.

Yard has been overgrown for years! Dad died; Mom moved; son lives in house. The property is next to Brentwood Elementary and a haven for rats, snakes, etc,

Continue violations of a Black Suv parking on the lawn here. Several complaints have been sent.

These are not abandoned vehicles They are vehicles that are being parked on Brentwood Rd by the used car lot on the corner of Brentwood and Capital Blvd They obstruct and cause traffic backup at the evening rush hour It is dangerous and annoying

Continued issues with 3517 Huntleigh and they appear to be unwilling to cooperate based on prior reporting by neighbors and are now parking two cars on the front lawn.

There are 2 properties located on Huntleigh Drive, one of which has been reported before. These homes have many cars/work trucks in backyard, front yard, driveway and streets. These homes are next to a beautiful home that has changed homes many times due to the number of cars/messiness of properties. The home across from it has also changed hands due to messiness and questionable drug activity. The house numbers 3517 and 3521 Huntleigh Drive. Please clean up this mess!!!!!

Always parking different vehicles on the front lawn.

Continued issues with neighbors parking their cars on lawns and resulting appearance of the homes in question. Often during the day but in the evening as well. Would appreciate your help here.

There are very loud vehicles with obviously illegal exhaust systems creating loud and unusual noises. The problem seems to be getting worse and I have witnessed hundreds of muffler violations occurring in direct line of sight of Raleigh Police without responding. Please help protect public health by enforcing the following General Statue and City Noise Ordinance when possible.

North Carolina General Statutes § 20-128 Exhaust system and emissions control devices.
(a)        No person shall drive a motor vehicle on a highway unless such motor vehicle is equipped with a muffler, or other exhaust system of the type installed at the time of manufacture, in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise, annoying smoke and smoke screens.

City Code Sec. 12-5007. - PROHIBITED NOISES.

(d) The use of any automobile, motorcycle or other vehicle so out of repair, so loaded or in such manner as to create loud or unnecessary grating, grinding, rattling or other noise.

(f) The discharge into the open air of the exhaust of any stationary internal combustion engine or motor vehicle, except through a muffler or other device which will effectively prevent loud or explosive noises therefrom.
