Fire hazard, road blockage and unsanitary dump site. Homeless camper at corner of Emery and MaxArthur is building an elaborate structure out of dry wooden pallets, has blocked off half the street with cones, and created a festering open dump site with rotting box springs, food containers, and human waste that is accumulating more trash every day. It's attracting vermin. The entire site is unsafe and needs to be relocated and remediated immediately.

  • 1201 Park Ave Emeryville, California - Emeryville
Homeless people sleeping in our front entry alcove are becoming a chronic issue as well as RV's parking for days along Watts. Last weekend some vagrants started a fire on the neighbor's driveway and left broken bottles in and trash in our gated parking lot. The homeless encampment behind the Home Depot/Target area is out of control. What is being done to provide some appropriate affordable housing? I think we need to consider a designated area with facilities. What about the Sherwin Open Lot area or under the Maze? The homeless encampment overflowing the street near the new apartments is going to be a serious issue for potential tenants looking in this area and it is affecting our business as the front door is frequently blocked, and both clients and employees have had their cars vandalized during daylight work hours.

The employees also hang out on the sidewalk having very loud conversations and loading trucks early in the morning.

Engine oil and grease. There was a camper parked here for several weeks and was towed away recently. There is a large pool of engine oil and grease and the nearby drain runs to the bay. This should be cleaned up before water washes it down the drain. Thanks!!
