    Hello, Property owner has been putting up false and deceiving signs to hold parking in front of their property for construction that has been going on for MONTHS. They have tried to reserve 3 spaces total in front of property. Its been like this for well over 5 months now. It’s not very neighborly considering this is the only block without a residential permit parking so people who actually live on this block have to compete with reduced parking shortage. Is this illegal what they are doing? Its very annoying.

    Scooter rider on sidewalk going too fast and not wearing a helmet almost hit me and gave me gruff when I asked him to get off the sidewalk. When are you going to enforce your laws or will you just wait until someone is injured? There are senior who live in an adult residence here -- don't let it happen to them. I don't mind scooters as long as they are on the sidewalk. Also two people on one scooter without helmets in the same spot. Do something please

    Belotti Ristorante has extended their kitchen to the outside of the sidewalk and stores their grill 24 hours a day on Hudson Street. This seems like a public health code violation. Can you please investigate? They cook peoples food on this grill and leave it outside in front of their smoking station.

    PLEASE PLEASE keep Shafter as a Slow Street! Shafter used to be a racetrack with cars speeding at 40mph+ to cut through from highway 24 traffic. A street survey years ago counted 2,000 cars a day at the corner of Shafter and Hudson, in this dense residential neighborhood. The Slow Streets have made Shafter safe for cyclists, including little kids learning to ride bikes, and pedestrians and dog walkers. PLEASE keep Shafter as a Slow Street!

    Belotti restaurant has dumped or stored a BBQ grill at their rear entrance which is on Hudson Street. It has been there for weeks and I think that they might even cook on it and serve people the food which is right near where everyone smokes cigarettes. It is a health hazard and blight.
