This crosswalk (across Miller between Pomona and Wesley) lacks pedestrian crossing signs. It is the only crosswalk on Miller between Maple and Main Street that lacks the signs. Also, the crosswalk is on a hill, so the signs will make it more visible in both directions.

So apparently, A2 uses AI to help improve traffic, however, it has *not* learned how to properly allocate traffic at the stoplight at Jackson and Maple. Driving west on Jackson and approaching Maple, there is constantly a pile of up traffic (especially from 4-6pm) and yet the wait for the light to turn green is an average of 3+ minutes. There is never a pile of traffic on Maple. Why isn't the green light longer for the Jackson side? And it seems super inefficient (e.g. Jackson going west + left turn gets a green, then waits, before going east gets a green + left. Often the left turn lane is completely empty before it turns red again) The whole thing could use a rehaul.

West Park Pond is a mess. Despite all the rain we've had, the pond is drying up. It's mucky, wildlife is leaving and it looks very stressed. Please determine the problem and work toward a fix. Engage the community if you need help cleaning it up and restoring health to this great eco-system and very popular place for people of all ages.

Sometime last year, the city painted lines for a crosswalk on the north side of the T-intersection where Madison hits State Street. Hundreds of law students and undergraduates use that crossing every day. We are grateful for the crosswalk, but there have been unintended hazards as a result. I have personally witnessed half a dozen incidents since last semester where students almost get hit by cars at night because it is not obvious that it is a crosswalk. If the city could install crosswalk lights, that would make the area much safer for students and drivers. Thank you for your time and consideration!

There is a crosswalk on Nixon Rd. near the entrance to Clague middle school. I've noticed that there is no street light illuminating the cross-walk, making it very difficult for drivers to see pedestrians waiting to cross or already in the cross-walk when it is dark in the early morning or in the evening. Drivers very often fail to yield to pedestrians here and I have had some near misses with cars. Please consider adding a streetlight here to make pedestrians more visible before an accident happens!

Crosswalk to school needs to be marked immediately- needs to be painted on street and increased signage needed for visibility. Many kids from elementary to high school use this crosswalk before and after school. Additionally no parking spaces need to be more adequately marked. Parents park here during drop off and pick up and further obstruct crosswalk view. Please remedy immediately for student safety. Thank you!

Sometime in the past week, an 8' x 8' patch was made on the northbound lane of N. Maple about 60 yards north of the Dexter Ave. intersection. It was poorly done, leaving a severe bump that thousands of cars go over every day.
Can you please have whoever is responsible rectify their workmanship?

This is a dangerous intersection for bikers, pedestrians traveling north on the sidewalk. Because cars travel south on Huron, drivers at the intersection of Glazier only look left. They also do not stop at all at this stop sign, let alone look for pedestrians. On today's commute and 3 days ago in broad daylight I would've been struck by another car while bike commuting. This is the norm. I have learned to yield to the cars bc they never pay attention, and sometimes I have to knock on the car to get their attention. I have reported this issue several times and made suggestions such as painting a crosswalk sign (though cars routinely stop IN the crosswalks), a look for bikers/pedestrian sign, etc. What we want to prevent is needing another ghost bike to remind drivers to stop and look for pedestrians/bikers. This is crucial esp with the shorter daylight hours. There is already a problem in broad daylight wearing a bright yellow reflective jacket.
