Old Orchard Shores

This vehicle has been parked here since June 10, 2020. And haven't seen any activity with the vehicle. This vehicle doesn't belong to the home owner not sure who it belongs to just appeared and hasn't left.

THIS REPORT IS NOT TO REQUEST A STREET SWEEPING REQUEST BUT TO REPORT ONE OF THE OPERATORS THAT WE SAW ON SATURDAY, 9/17 BEFORE 11:51 a.m. AND AFTER IN #2253 STREET SWEEPER. WHY DO THE SWEEPING/CLEANING OF THE STREETS, IF YOU USE NO WATER/SOLUTION - ESPECIALLY ON A SATURDAY?? I/WE THOUGHT THAT WAS HOW STREET SWEEPING/CLEANING WAS DONE -- WITH SOME TYPE OF CLEANING SOLUTION OR EVEN WATER!!?? ALL THIS FEMALE WORKER DID WAS DRIVE AROUND AND KICK UP A LOT OF DUST -- NO STREET CLEANING. THIS WAS A WASTE OF TAXPAYERS TIME -- SINCE SHE WAS PROBABLY GETTING TIME AND A HALF FOR DOING THIS 'JOB'. IT WAS TERRIBLE!! IF THAT WAS ALL SHE WAS GOING TO DO, KICK UP THE DUST AND NOT CLEAN THE STREETS, AND AT TIME AND A HALF, THEN DON'T DO IT AT ALL. PLEASE REPORT THIS TO THE CORRECT AREA SUPERVISOR. THANKS!!

the dead end on Marvin running into the Grove Patterson school has SO many potholes. Also it was not cleared of ice and snow this morning causing hazardous conditions.

I can’t imagine that our zoning code allows this?

there are a ton, no lie, a ton of leaves that line the south side of marvin drive from about raleigh to chollett. i know they already came and picked up our leaves, but think it was jamestown apartments put all their leaves there after the last pickup. they are huge thick piles and its an eyesore. i think that they need to be picked up asap at least before a very heavy rain or a bad snow. i would hate for these to end up clogging the sewer system.

What is this?? White reflector poles stuck to the street…”no parking” by those poles is not enforced. Drivers on Middlesex are forced to use the street as one lane. This is dangerous and I’m not exactly sure what the purpose is. Who installed these poles? And for what reason?

They either need to be removed to allow for 2 lane traffic or no parking next to the poles needs to be strictly enforced.

Currently there is no street parking permitted on the east side of Wendover anywhere north of Marvin. There is a 60 minute parking limit on the west side. There are no parking restrictions on either side of Wendover south of Marvin, despite the road being no wider there than it is to the north. While this 60 minute limit has not traditionally been enforced, TPD did recently come through and ticket residents' vehicles for violating this limit.

There does not appear to be a logical reason for this restriction, and it is a major inconvenience to the residents of Wendover north of Marvin to be unable to park their vehicles on the street when the road is more than wide enough to allow this. Furthermore, this road tends to have a lot of traffic that speeds and ignores the stop sign at Wendover and Marvin. Having traffic parked along the street helps to slow this traffic down as they need to move over to allow oncoming traffic to pass.

I request that the 60 minute parking restriction on the west side of northern Wendover be removed so that vehicles can be parked there for a longer period of time.

i WOULD LIKE TO REPORT THAT OUR LEAVES ON WENDOVER, NEAR MARVIN WERE PICKED UP YESTERDAY, SUNDAY, 11/12/23 - WHICH WAS NICE, BUT WE WERE GIVEN NO NOTICE OR NO NO PARKING SIGNS ON WENDOVER. THERE WAS ONLY 1 SIGN AT THE CORNER OF MARVIN AND WENDOVER, WHICH AT THAT CORNER IS ONLY 2 HOUSES, AND THEN THE REST IS AN APARTMENT BUILDING UNTIL YOU GET TO THE NEXT HOUSE NEAR THE NEXT INTERSECTION. ALL OF A SUDDEN, WE HEARD THE LOUD NOISES, AND THEN PEOPLE WERE RUSHING TO FIND OUT WHO OWNED WHAT CARS THAT WERE PARKED ON WENDOVER TO GET THEM MOVED. HAD WE BEEN GIVEN THE PROPER ONE (1) WEEK NOTICE OF THE NO PARKING/LEAF PICK UP, THEN WE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO DO SO. WHY WAS OUR STREET MISSED FOR THE NO PARKING SIGNS? WHO DIDNT DO THEIR JOB? WAS OUR STREET DONE IN ERROR? LIKE I SAID, APPRECIATE THEY WERE DONE, BUT THEN WE WERE GIVEN NO NOTICE. PLUS NOW AFTER THE LEAVES WERE DONE, SOME RUDE NEIGHBORS, NEAR CENTRAL, NOW HAVE LEAVES ON THE STREET. GLAD I'M NOT THEIR NEIGHBOR!!

multiple potholes. road in very poor condition for car tyres. potholes filled multiple times already but they open up after each rainfall.

No street sign down, but crosswalks here and at other intersections along Marvin are in need of fresh paint. The one at Marvin/Goddard barely noticeable .
