health safety - ongoing issue that needs to be discontinued AND mitigated CLEANED UP

Part of this drainage canal is in the Pinellas Park district and part is in the city of Largo district. In other words behind our house is Pnellas Park but everything north that abuts Ranchero Village and Pine Forest is the city of Largo. I contacted the city of Largo several times and was told there was a work order in process to get the drainage ditch cleaned out. I’ve only see them go over and mow but from the pictures you can see below, it is terribly over grown. Over the years from my recall this has only been dredged out once maybe twice and I’m not sure who did it. It has been neglected for a very long time causing loads of vegetation to grow in the drainage canal and consequently the water flow is basically nonexistent. The stagnant water was checked last year by Pinellas County and loads of mosquito larvae were found and they treated it and my yard and the neighbors unkept swimming pool. We understand that money has been allocated to clean up drainage canal’s and ditches in our area and we would very much like a response from someone as to when we can expect this to be done. We purchased this property 40 yrs ago because it was actually considered on the water. Instead of a beautiful place for the ducks to swim and otters to Roam, it has become a horrible eyesore and we need attention to it .

Lights at this intersection are very long. It seems like 66th street north and south are extremely long and doesn't change until a vehicle enters the left turn lane on 66th street which changes for that car immediately. Then north and south bound traffic continues for a minute or so and finally the light changes for east and west bound traffic on 82nd Ave north. By this time so much traffic has backed up that not all cars can make the light to go north or south on 66th street.

Drug sales in driveway constantly.

Cars pay no attention to the do not block intersection here. This is a frequent occurrence.

Mattress, sink and toilet still in back yard. Rats coming into my yard from that yard. Generator running at all hours of day and night. We are unable to sit in our back yard because of the noise from the generator.

Standing in my yard at 7pm I must have had 20-30 mosquitoes landing on me per minute. We live in a wetlands area with acreage. I have been here for over 35 years and while your technicians seem competent and conscientious, the most effective control has always been aerial spraying. I bought my home here with a large yard, because I enjoy being outdoors. The mosquitoes are terrible. PLEASE AERIAL SPRAY OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

Purple Haze has a part on April 20th of every year. They blast music for 10 hours that causes the windows in neighboring houses to shake. I am in the neighborhood behind them and work from home and cannot hear over their noise. Whenever I call to ask them if they can turn it down the owner gets an attitude about it. The entire neighborhood is suffering from this including people who have young children that are impacted by this. I have been up since 4 am for work and I am tired of listening to this and having no ability to do anything about it because it is unincorporated and there are no legal ramifications. Please stop giving this man permits to make life miserable for everyone within a 5 mile radius. I have tried speaking to him and he doesn't care about the community or the people he is impacting.

the traffic signal at 66th St N and Pasadena Ave has very poor timing. the signal stays red for North/South bound 66th St traffic much longer than it should. you can see the signals North and South of you cycle through twice before this signal changes once.
