Notified About

  • 605-699 E Bellows St Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
City should admit that this is a bad deal, remove it , eat the loss, and make it a safer section of road for cars, bikes and pedestrians.
  • 2813-2999 S Isabella Rd Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Isabella County
This whole, long stretch of Isabella Rd. has worn down. It's fine on a sunny day, but when it rains, you need to almost drive in another lane to keep your car under control due to the amount of water in the grooves where tires meet the road. This road needs resurfacing.
  • Pedestrians Archived
1087-1099 S Washington St Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
No one crossing the street ever looks before crossing, and if they do, they keep walking anyway. Bikes rarely ever follow traffic regulations. The drivers are usually extremely impatient, since they have to wait so long to move. Stop signs are fine for the amount of car traffic, but nothing is being done about the pedestrian traffic. Ten minutes before classes start, it's impossible to move anywhere, and the whole street gets backed up in all 4 directions.
  • 800-802 South Mission Street Mount Pleasant, MI - Mount Pleasant
MDOT just installed a new traffic signal here, but like the old signal, only traffic turning left off of Mission has the benefit of a left turn signal; traffic on High Street does not have this luxury and in times of heavy traffic, must wait for the yellow to turn. The other day I had to wait through three light cycles to turn left onto Mission. When MDOT was putting in a new light, did they even consider a left turn signal for all directions?
  • 1605 Portabella Apt 1 - Mount Pleasant
broomfield road going past isabella over the bridge is HORRIBLE!! Thats is one road that needs major fixing. Theirs so many pot holes and not to mention the road is like a tetir tator.
  • 701-799 E Bellows St Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
This light is so easy to get gridlocked when it's time for students go to class, it's not even funny. Traffic from East Campus Dr. gets backed up all the time too. It's because of the close proximity all of these major roads have to each other.
  • W Broomfield St Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
Crossing the railroad tracks on the north side of Broomfield and just west of Washington is just horrible. Impact on front axle and wheels is like hitting a pot hole. When traveling west on Broomfield I have to slow down to help prevent damage to front wheels or axle. When I do this it creates a danger of my being rear-ended by a following car. This has happened more than once. The damage caused by the impact on a front axle will eventually cause an expensive replacement of front shocks or even worse. Please fix and help save our vehicles from damage due to impact on front axle and shocks, and us from the injury from an accident that this crossing causes due to its poor condition
  • Corner Of Mission And Preston Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
Making a left turn onto Mission from either Preston Street direction is dangerous as people run the yellow lights and, at times, only one vehicle can make the turn during a light sequence.
  • 3000 S Isabella Rd. Mt Pleasant, MI - Isabella County
Currently, Isabella is a four-lane road between Bluegrass and Pickard. Designated turning lanes exist at the Broomfield and Pickard intersections, but not at any other intersections. With many places for drivers to turn left on/into (Chase Run, Preston, Bellows, Remus, Broadway, etc.), it can be dangerous to slow and often stop in the traffic lane to complete the turn. Ideally, Isabella should be widened into a 5-lane road, as 4-lane roads are obsolete, but at a minimum, turning lanes should be added at the lighted intersections of Remus and Broadway, although having a turn lane for the whole stretch would make the road much safer.
  • 1820-1998 E Remus Rd Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Isabella County
The intersection of Isabella Road and Remus Road [High Street] is extremely dangerous for making left turns. There have been numerous accidents at the corner for people either turning into Morey Courts/ICE Arena or turning west on Remus Road. A left turn arrow is desperately needed to prevent future accidents.
  • 3622-3740 E Deerfield Rd Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, USA - Mount Pleasant
The road here is horrible. I had two tires ruined by this road. One blew on the spot
  • Crapo St Mt Pleasant, MI - Mount Pleasant
People drive very aggressively on this stretch of road. The speed limit is 25, because it's a residential area and there's also a high school in the area, yet whenever I drive 25 through here someone always has to be tailgating me, and I have to think that if they weren't tailgating me doing 25 they'd be driving much faster. The police should really set up to watch for this and patrol this area much more, because some of these drivers seem to think they're on the freeway when they turn onto Crapo.
