High Point Terrace

Traffic speed on Philwood between Highpoint Terrace and Sevier continues to be excessive. Customers from Cheffies and the stores nearby speed on our street. There havealso been car break-ins and an abduction. I believe speed humps would deter excessive speed and crime. Thank you for your consideration.

Area of pavement around sewer manhole collapsing. Several inches deep; traffic hazard. Needs repair ASAP!

There is trash and signs all over the property. It does not look like anyone take care of the property or house. This is an eyesore for this busy intersection.

I've reported this so many times Now there are two pods and you can't see to make a turn Someone is going to get hurt and this has been well documented on 311 now These things are illegal per city code Come on already!

I'm not sure how else surrounding neighbors and business can express their deep concern about the state of this property. After a recent fire, many burned possessions are still piled up outside the front of the house, and the weeds are about three feet tall in both front and back. Obviously these things are major eyesores, but even more concerning are the health hazards all of this presents to the surrounding neighbors, particularly rodents. Please address this problem somehow, because the owners obviously don't care enough to.

The High Point Pub has announced they are reopening tonight. As the smallest bar in Memphis with a counter bar that takes up most of the space and a shuffleboard table that takes up the rest, there is no possible way for this bar to open back up within the given guidelines. Plus, no food is served there unless you count peanuts. Considering that the majority of the patrons live close by in the neighborhood, this could become a Covid hotspot.

The fence got ran over by someone last year. Part of fence is missing plus damaged. The fence needs to get fixed as soon as possible. Stray dogs appeared after the fence being damaged. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks!

Pothole/sinkhole almost in center of street. Looks like concerned citizens but a tall stick in it and placed hazard triangles around it. More than just a hole, looks like street is starting to cave in there.
