Once again, a huge sideshow in the middle of the night, this one lasting 25-30 minutes. At least one gunshot or large firework. Non-stop noise and air pollution for everyone in the vicinity. Nobody out there lives here; I didn't recognize a single face or car - they're all in from out of town.

Main cars putting on the show were red+black early 2000s mustang, new yellow dodge charger, new white charger, and older black/gray Mazda Miata.

We need physical sideshow barriers here. This can't keep happening here over and over again with no action from Oakland.

Woke up after hearing 4-5 gunshots. Less than 5 minutes later, I saw and heard about 25-30 cars having a sideshow at 45th and Market. Loud music, screeching tires, revving engines, smoke, etc. Hiding my identity bc I'm afraid of retribution, given the gunshots this time.

Sideshow lasting about 15 minutes with 5-10 cars actively participating. 5-6 gunshots at the end, then dispersion. No police response visible. We need physical barriers/deterrents ASAP.

I heard and saw a sideshow with about 8-10 cars going between 45th and 46th on Market. I called 911 after about 15 minutes since the cars didn't just go away after a few minutes like they normally do. The dispatcher said they had already received multiple reports of this, and an officer was on the way. Then, about 15 minutes later, after no officer intervention, there were about 20 gunshots from different vehicles around 45th-46th-47th St. I called 911 again to report the gunshots while they were happening. 30 minutes later now, I still haven't seen any police on the street at all. Is this really not an incident worth responding to??? OPD, where are you? Dan Kalb, can we please get a physical deterrent to sideshows at 45th and Market? How much closer to someone getting killed do we need to get before hardened centerlines or bott's dots are installed??
