    Requesting a lockable gate just past 54 Covington St and AT&T/PG&E Boxes. The gate is needed to deter cars from parking in this cul-de-sac after hours per OPD and neighborhood security. EBMUD, Dunsmuir, WM and Fire Department will need keys to lock. The gate that blocks the Dunsmuir Ridge Trail can have lock removed so the Fire Department does not need to go through 2 gates. This area is out of sight and attracts nefarious behaviors. Placing a gate would save Oakland money from having to clean up illegal dumping that the neighbors have been taking away recently. We have been cleaning up used condoms, drug paraphanalia, empty liquor/beer bottles, trash and human feces. There are also side shows and parties at all hours. OPD Officers recommend making environmental changes to the road.
