Borough of Glenolden

New one lane traffic patterns along MacDade Blvd.
Traveling on MacDade has become a nightmare. Traffic was backed up from South Avenue to Ashland Avenue
Whichever Glenolden Borough politician who allowed for this new traffic pattern should be kicked out of office.
Do the politicians sit in their office just to make driving difficult. Do they ever drive on these roads. What a waste of tax payer money

This intersection is a death trap. They REALLY need to put some kind of turning arrows on Oak Ave and Chester Pike. It has only gotten worse since the "Super" Wawa was built. Realistically the only option (since there is only 1 lane of traffic) is to put the arrows up on Oak Ave and let 1 side start with the green arrow and the other side get the green arrow after the first side turns red

PennDot has totally screwed up traffic on Mcdade Blvd. after new traffic patterns have been placed. Backed up traffic everyday!!!!
Horrible decision!!

How many more accidents have to happen before MacDade is returned to 2 lanes going each way. There have been more accident here in the last 3 months then in the 10 years I have lived here. Something has to be done with these council people that are making these bad decisions

Heading south on Oak Ave. to Chester Pike, a left turn at this intersection should not be allowed. Sometimes only one vehicle makes it through the light. At times, there may be several vehicles turning left, and you may sit through several lights while only less than a block from the intersection. Drivers even cut through the Wawa parking lot to get around the intersection. Septa adds to this congestion by routing buses to turn north onto Oak Ave. from the west bound side of Chester Pike. Many buses cannot make the turn. It is a real mess...

The traffic light at the bridge at south ave and chester pike, the one on south ave for traffic crossing chester pike/turning right or left onto chester pike is much much too short. if there is 4 cars waiting at the red light, when it turns green, only 3 will be able to make it before it turns red again. alot of cars run the light when it turns red only because there is a line of 15 cars waiting. this should really be fixed, especially since so many accidents happen at this intersection anyway. its just making the situation worse. just add ten or 15 seconds onto the light and people will be safer driving into this intersection.

all hours of the day and night with police from glenolden and norwood sitting at light people cruise thru red light if norwood is broke why arent they at least collecting traffic tickets to help pay there salaries

also school is about to start so people please watch for school buses with there lights flashing as a concerned parent I WILL BE OUT VIDEO TAPING violaters of not stopping an just so you know its $250.00 and 4 pionts

The borough has raised taxes to build an underpass for pedestrians. If they are going to spend that kind of money why not enlarge the current tunnel under the railroad for cars and a walkway. Even after the tunnel is constructed the kids will still walk in the middle of the road, so the road will need to be closed each time during school dismissal.
