Parking-Related issue Archived56 Grove Street Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordAlmost hit a kid on a bike coming out of Sagamore because the usual suspects are parking along a narrow stretch of Grove Street (50-56). The parked cars block the view
of the crosswalk and cause cars to veer into the oncoming lane. This is an accident waiting to happen and has been reported here multiple times, stop passing the buck and take action before someone is seriously injured. -
Traffic Signal Issue AcknowledgedOak Ridge Rd Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordI have visited the DPW twice since April of 2019 regarding missing STOP and stop line templates at each of the four existing STOP signs. Initially I was told that there was a backlog because of rainy conditions was informed by email over a year ago that my request would be "First on the list". This is a cut through between Grove Street and the Mystic Valley Parkway and without these painted templates motorists fly through as if the signs are invisible. I don't understand how such a simple request can not be acknowledged or completed within a year's timeframe.

Drainage/Flooding Issue Archived5 Usher Rd Medford, MA 02155, USA - MedfordAt least a few times a year, twice in last two months, Usher road floods during storms. Sometimes it's cause by leaves clogging drains, but other times drains are clear and the system just can't handle amount of water. There's only two drains at the bottom of the hill that need to handle all the water from Usher and when other streets in the area backup it comes like a river from both directions on Playstead. I know it's not an easy fix, but is there something that can be done, or what steps can residents take to start the process of getting something done? Either additional drains further up hill that won't get clogged, or for when leaves are not the issue are there pumps down the line that could be turned on sooner if there are pumps? Cars on Street food and houses food occasionally as well. just got done clearing drains at 3am.

28 Ravine Road Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordEverywhere else is dry, yet there is a constant drainage problem with this puddle here. No doubt as others have indicated that the road issues and potholes are related to this. Wanted to share the photo to further support the case. The grate across the street is dry but dovered with some debri and periodically impacted by a neighbor's french drainage.
It appears to be working while water sits across the stree. Standing water, debris, erosion, flooding. -
Parking-Related issue Archived51-59 Grove St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Re-post of a previous concern that was obviously not read fully or understood by city staff.
The request is not to issue one time tickets to cars parked here, it’s for the city to make the area a permanent No Parking zone.
Cars parked on Grove St between Newton Rd and Sagamore Park are creating a hazard for drivers. The parked cars create blind spots in the drivers field of vision as they pull around the parked cars, creating a high risk of head on collisions with cars entering Grove St from Tyler Ave, Sagamore Park, Johnson Ave, or coming in the opposite direction on Grove St.
This stretch should be designated No Parking for safety reasons

Traffic/Street Issue ArchivedBoston Ave & High St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordThere is very little traffic regulation at the intersection of Boston Avenue and High Street, making it a very dangerous intersection. Drivers speed through the intersection from either direction, often times not yielding to pedestrians on the crosswalks. The right-hand turn from High Street to Boston avenue is particularly dangerous with how fast people take the turn.

Sidewalk Issue Archived2–32 Monument St Medford MA 02155, United States - Medford
