Property has a bright white street light in violation of city ordinance regarding foot lamberts of brightness, cut-off angle illuminating adjacent properties and time of night duration of light on.

This car was abandoned a few days ago on the corner of 3rd and Griegos NW making hard for cars turning onto 3rd from Griegos also garbage trucks. Please have it removed as homeless are looking in it.

Called 242 cops on Thursday. A police service aide came by. Looked at the car no more than 5 min then left. This car has been sitting here over a week corner of 3rd and griegos

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city is warning people to keep commercial vehicles out of your neighborhood or you could face a judge.

A complaint came into the city’s 311 app Wednesday about a possible safety issue. A person living at a home near Rio Grande and Matthew parks a fuel truck in the front yard, which aligns with a public park.

Deputy Planning Director Brennon Williams says it’s illegal to park commercial vehicles weighing more than 10,000 pounds in neighborhoods. The city plans on sending a code enforcement inspector out to the home.

“Because the zoning code is a criminal code, ultimately, if the property owner doesn’t comply, a criminal complaint would be issued and they’d have to go in front of a Metro Court judge and explain why they haven’t done what the city’s asked them to do,” Williams said.

Williams says depending on the code enforcement officer’s workload, they will typically respond to reports within the first couple of days. There are 10 inspectors responsible for covering reports throughout the city.

There is a recently installed service panel (we witnessed installation about 6-30-21) at 817 Montaño NW that is apparently un-permitted by CABQ and unapproved by PNM since it does not look as if it complies with requirements of the utility. It has no green permit tags on its cover or dead-front. It services outdoor receptacles not protected by GFCI that are being used to power the three RVs that are being used as residences on the property. The property is zoned as single-family residence. The receptacles are on the east side of the abandoned house, visible from the right-of-way at the sidewalk. The panel is accessible from the same right-of-way, and it looks as if the dead-front has been removed. The RVs have been lived in more than 14 days, since about the July 1, 2021. The residents have outdoor accommodations such as lawn furniture and cooking devices. There is no obvious sewer tie-in, so it is unclear how they are handling sanitary services. All three RVs are apparent and obvious from the sidewalk right-of-way. We reported the RVs earlier this month on request 210622000389.
