Construction update?? It appears construction on Recker Rd north of Ray has come to a halt for 2-3 weeks.

Due to increased traffic from Lindsay and 202 exit a light is requested to assist multiple neighborhoods to turn left onto Lindsey RD

My property backs up to Riggs. All night and day we hear cars speeding on Riggs, trucks engine breaking and loud engines racing Recently there have been multiple accidents on Riggs and it is so dangerous I have racked my brain to think of what can be done Here are some of my ideas 1. Slow the speed limit from Basha High all the way to Higley. I work in Tempe and the speed limit is 35 MPH at ALL TIMES through school zones and a few blocks either way. 2. We need a permanent speed radar/sign showing people's speed--they have them all over Chandler. 3. Signs that say "NO ENGINE BRAKING" because those big trucks use downshifting to slow down and it is REALLY LOUD. 4. Possibly put up a light at the Constellation intersection and the intersection just west of the wash on 155th Street--that might slow people down before the Adora Trails entrance . 5. Would love to see a low wall along Riggs to dampen the noise from tires on the road. 6. More police patrolling at the wash....that seems to be the spot where cars speed u We cannot have another teen die in this area.p. ....,

Can we get this road work completed on Queen Creek rd and Higley please. It's been sitting Ike this for almost a month. thank you.

Driving behavior has become very dangerous since city decreased speed from 45 to 25/35 in the Wlliamsfield/Recker quadrant. I live in Cooley Station off of Recker and Vest. Everytime I go to Fry's on Recker and Wlliamsfield I am confronted with extreme and threatening road rage from driver's not wanting to comply with reduced speed limit, it's frightening. Please reconsider the speed limits in this area.

Neighbors at 1337 s Joshua Tree Ln started at 10pm revving up their motorcycle along with a visitor (friend) vehicle a red hatchback or small compact car down Windsor They speed up circling Windsor Dr. then they speed off towards the main street in Recker and speed. Usually they come come back through the back end through E Jasper Dr. can we have a cop monitor the area ideally through the back end on Jasper to be able to witness the problem? It's so frustrating, it's Monday and we are starting off the week with no sleep, they did this yesterday as well at 1 am.

Someone illegally installed a speed bump on our street without street permission

How can we request to create a "Quiet Zone" ("No Train Horn") zone at this intersection? Based on what the DOT website has at https://railroads.dot.gov/elibrary/how-create-quiet-zone, the railroad crossings here have SSMs in place which would make these two crossing eligible to be Quiet Zones. Right now, train horns blast daily, sometimes in the early morning hours which is a nuisance, so much that it has to be declared on property disclosures which has impact on property values. It's not fun being awakened at 5:00am by blasting horns. Since the crossings already meet criteria for Quiet Zones, it would be great to have those implemented. Thank you!

Hi, there is a homeless lady who has taken up residence over the last month or so there. She is getting worse and leaving shopping carts full of bags, blankets and trash. Currently at 10:49 am on Friday December 11 I just passed there and seen her walking near the little Caesar’s with baskets and on the front Intersection of Williams field and Higley piles of her trash and blankets all over. Can we please get theirs cleaned up? She sleeps out front and lives there at least for a mknrh already.

The midge flies are out of control with the new water retention areas on Higley and Ocotillo There are thousands of flies where we cannot enjoy our backyard while it's still nice out I had an arborist here who was in shock and needs his team to wear scarfs so they don't inhale them while working on my trees! The fogging is not cutting it We need to know how to get this fixed before it turns into mosquitoes and we have a much bigger issue on our hands.

How long will this be closed by 2 lanes? When Higley gets out it's a nightmare

This issue was previously reported by multiple people and they are still blocking the entrance to the neighborhood with how they are parking. These are updated photos. It makes it very hard to enter and leave the neighborhood. There is a lot of traffic that comes through on San Remo.
