Bollards have been placed blocking off part of the lane making turns from Tiffin onto the Lyman heading towards 580 difficult This punch is causing near head on with traffic coming opposite direction especially with cars parked on either side of Lyman

the road out of the parking lot has a lot of potholes. many people visiting the pool and the park have complained to me about it, I told them I'd put a 311 in for it.

This car has been here four times tonight, accompanied by another car at one point, spinning donuts at the intersection of Waterhouse and Lyman. Hoping to get a rear license plate as he doesn't have a front plate.

this intersection has all kinds of safety issues, including people running stop signs and speeding and pedestrian safety issues. Stop signs and speed bumps have done little to deter aggressive driving at this intersection

Car accident on 8/13/2020 at approximately 6:30 PM. Car coming from Waterhouse Rd traveling down Lyman Rd missed the curve and hit an unoccupied parked car in front of 3917 Lyman Rd. Cars are traveling too fast both up and down Lyman Rd.
Requesting traffic calming measures, including stop signs at Lyman Rd and Waterhouse Rd, speed bumps on Lyman Rd, a traffic island and any other measures to slow down traffic on Lyman Rd and make the Lyman Rd/Waterhouse Rd intersection safer. This includes adding crosswalks at the Lyman/Waterhouse intersection where there are none.

Constant trash along Lyman road next to Dimond park. People park here drink and litter all day. This should be painted red and marked no parking on the road next to Dimond park since people can't berrespectful and keep it clean.rindsoundSundonOpbakenakeparkePeteoute,

A car driving up Lyman crashed into a parked car around noon on Sunday. When they got out of their car they didn’t put it in park and it rolled back into a post in front of the park. We’ve had numerous car accidents on Lyman over the last year or so (including a car flipping over after crashing into a parked car, a car colliding with another car leaving their driveway and another car running into a parked UPS truck after turning a corner at the top of the hill. More needs to be done to address the traffic issues on our street.

The Waterhouse/Lyman intersection is extremely dangerous and getting worse by the day. Cars driving south on Waterhouse merge into Lyman at an insane rate of speed. After this intersection there is nothing to slow the traffic down. They continue to accelerate down Lyman, down the hill without any chance of stopping to avoid pedestrians, like the ones at the Dimond Park they are speeding past.
We need a three way stop with a big cement barrier as indicated in this photo in blue. This would force southbound traffic to stop in a south east facing direction. To then make a 90 degree turn to the right down Lyman. This should be followed up by two speed bumps down Lyman before the decline at the top of the park.

The 3700 block of Fruitvale Avenue, at the bottom of the hill where Lyman becomes Fruitvale, is extremely dangerous. Cars speed up and down the hill, ignoring the crosswalk that children use to cross to Dimond Park every day. The "slow down" sign that the city installed is useless; cars regularly hit it. This block of Fruitvale Ave is located next to two nursery schools, a public library, and a public park. In the past year alone, a speeding car totaled a parked car in front of 3744 Fruitvale Ave, a pet dog was hit and killed by a hit-and-run car in front of 3724 Fruitvale Ave, and a pet cat was killed by a hit-and-run in the same place. We are terrified that a child will be the next casualty. The area of Fruitvale Ave in front of the tennis courts at Dimond Park urgently requires measures, including a speed bump and stop sign, to slow down traffic. If the City of Oakland had responded to earlier requests for traffic calming measures on this block, our pets' lives could have been saved. Please install speed bumps immediately.

At the bottom of Lyman Rd cars accelerate going north because of the incline but don't slow down. They continue through at a high rate of speed. Cars coming the opposite direction from Waterhouse treat the Waterhouse/Lyman intersection like a freeway onramp and travel down Lyman in excess of well over the speed limit. Then they reach to decline at the park and gain more speed. The two immediate problems are 1) there are visitors to Dimond Park are out walking/crossing the street. 2) vehicles, in both directions have gained too much speed and don't slow down the rest of the way up/down Lyman.

Just simply crossing the street fells like crossing a freeway.

We need two speed bumps. One at the top of the incline, where the street levels and one up closer to the North East right hand bend. This in addition to a new 3 way stop intersection at Waterhouse would insure that cars are forced to drive the proper speed.

Broken dangerous sidewalk on Lyman along Dimond Park

Yesterday a car exiting its driveway and a car driving up Lyman Road collided. Near accidents happen all the time on our street when people are trying to exit their driveways. This accident happened right next to where we had another major accident back in April. We need additional traffic calming measures to be put in place that make this street safer.
