Notified About

  • Traffic Signal Acknowledged
Dr Paul Dudley White Bike Path Boston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-Brighton
This is an incredibly high traffic intersection, crossed by a high traffic bike/pedestrian path. There in NO pedestrian signal. Crossing on foot or by bike is difficult with no walk signal. Incredibly negligent for no signal to be in place.
  • Commonwealth Ave and the carriage lane that runs beside it are currently in terrible shape...
  • 5 Ayr Rd - Allston-Brighton

Pulling out onto Ayr Rd from the alleyway that runs parallel to Orkney and Beacon (ie directly behind Eagle's Deli, Ace Hardware, Pino's Pizza.) is extremely dangerous--the parked cars on Ayr Rd make it nearly impossible to see oncoming traffic from either direction.

This is particularly true if you are making a right onto Ayr Rd, heading South towards Beacon St.

If a short (3-4 ft) no-parking zone was established on Ayr Rd from the mouth of this alleyway, it would be a tremendous aid to the visibility of drivers pulling out onto this street, and accidents like the one I had a few weeks ago could be avoided!

Thank you for considering this idea.

  • POTHOLES Acknowledged
    10 Radcliffe Rd Allston, Massachusetts - Allston-Brighton
The entirety of Radcliffe road is littered with deep potholes that give a beating to cars.
  • Went to a BC basketball game last night, I had forgotten how bad this road is. I can't say it's one pothole in particular; rather, the entire stretch from South Street to Lake Street is akin to one giant pothole. I've been on smoother dirt roads.
  • Western Ave At Soldiers Field - Allston-Brighton
The left turn light from Western Ave onto Soldiers Field road has been broken (as in it no longer lights up) for at least three years. You have to take your life in your hands and try to guess when you can turn onto Soldiers Field
  • 271 343 Cambridge St Boston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-Brighton
This bridge is a late night hangout for the underage hipsters of Allston. The graffiti is rather charming, but the copious amounts of broken glass and bottle-ends is becoming a hazard for children and cyclists. This bridge either needs a debris sweep daily or more security overnight.
Update: I spoke to a gentleman at MassDot who actually achieved some headway - the bridge is currently clean! If the situation devolves again, please call 617-635-7507 and report it.
  • Traffic Signal Acknowledged
Doctor Paul Dudley White Bike Path Watertown, Massachusetts - Allston-Brighton
I ride my bike along this path and there is not a traffic walk signal to cross N. Beacon Street from the Paul Dudley Bike Path. There is evidence of a cross walk but it completely faded and cars never stop. It is so dangerous. Is there any chance a walk light can be added?
  • Kenrick St Boston, MA - Allston-Brighton
THIS WHOLE STREET IS A TREACHEROUS OBSTACLE COURSE IN THE AM!! (Left unfixed for several years now!!)
  • Foster Street Brighton, MA - Allston-Brighton
There is a wire hanging from a telephone pole near the corner of Foster and Comm. In addition, the telephone pole at the corner of Comm. is leaning over and looks like it's ready to fall.
  • 353 Cambridge Street - Allston-Brighton
There has been at least one FATALITY at this intersection. Another post shows that 18 people want this fixed already, and that's just the people using this website. People making a left turn from the Northern part of Harvard Ave onto Cambridge street act like they have a protected left turn when they don't. Do you need another death to put up some clear notification preventing people from doing this, and stepping up enforcement?
  • 56 Gardner St Allston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-Brighton
The streetlight at the intersection of Gardner street and Chester street is broken. The street is extremely dark.
