  • 124-146 Brooke Street Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA - Alpharetta
Abandoned house overgrown with weeds and trees on Academy across from new city hall. This issue was reported almost a year ago. The last update from the city was 10 months ago that "the property owner was actively working to fix the situation". Nothing was done and the city closed the report. This property has been abandoned for more than 10 years and is an eyesore to the community.

East bound Webb Bridge Rd at Westside Parkway
Green arrow signal for turning left onto Westside Pkwy headed north no longer is triggered when there is a car in the turning lane.
West bound traffic on Webb Bridge always gets the greeen arrow for both turning lane and thru lane.
    Thank you
  • 3385 Kimball Bridge Rd Alpharetta, GA 30022, USA - Alpharetta
We need a "DO NOT PASS ON RIGHT" sign installed at Spruill Circle and Kimball Bridge to keep people from passing on the right when people are stopped to make a left turn off Kimball Bridge and onto Spruill Circle. Drivers often don't slow down at all when illegally passing on the right at this intersection. Thank you.
  • School Dr Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA - Alpharetta
Hydrant is in the middle of the sidewalk after the building was built.
  • Main Street New Pedestrian Red Flashing Lights Alpharetta, GA - Alpharetta

The new lights by Smoke Jack are a great safety addition. However the sign message to drivers needs to be revised.

When the pedestrian activates the lights and the lights go red, all vehicls are to stop. That is clear. However, it is my understanding that once the lights turn to flashing red vehicls are free to continue travel as long as pedestrians are not present in the crosswalk. There are no sign instructions to drivers that they may proceed once the crosswalk is cleared.

New signs need to be errected to give guidance to drivers so that vehicls do not stack up while waiting for the flashing red lights to stop yet the crosswalk has long been cleared.

  • 45 Roswell Street Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta

Prior to road resurfacing on Roswell Street, there was a crosswalk on both sides of the intersection at Made/La Casa creating a full crosswalk box.

After resurfacing, a crosswalk was outlined in both locations crossing Roswell Street to Old Roswell Street, but only one was painted and a Pedestrian Crossing sign was added (thank you for the sign). We would like to see the other crosswalk painted as well. If a switch to activate the pedestrian crossing sign can be added at the second location as well, that would be great, but at a minimum, it would be nice for there to be a full crosswalk box a this intersection.

  • 5750 Windward Parkway Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
It appears that the light cycles along Windward Parkway westbound at GA400 have changed. The light on the east side of the 400 Overpass turns green but the light on the west side is still red. The small length of traffic lanes under the bridge are already filled with cars, therefore no traffic on Windward Pkwy moves west until eventually the traffic light on the west side turns green. Traffic has been backed up on Windward Pkwy from the 400 overpass heading back towards McGinnis Ferry. This has just started happening in the last 2 weeks around 8:30am. Cars from North Point Pkwy are unable to turn left when they have a green arrow because traffic is backed up through that intersection and they have no available lane to turn into. I don't know if signal timing has been changed or what else may be causing this issue.
  • 1735 Bates Rd Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA - Alpharetta

The builder (Sharp Residential) who is building new homes on Bates Rd didn't add side walk lights.
We the home owners reported multiple times to have side walk lights installed as it gets dark early winter and is not safe for kids and elders to walk in dark and home owners on Bates road should walk couple of blocks to get to common mailboxes. we reported early fall last year, but no action taken from the builder.

Since HOA still managed by the builder they are not helping either in this regard.

We are reaching out to you the city to take necessary steps to notify the builder as it is violation of city code to not have side walk lights installed before selling the houses.
I am adding the Citi muni codes for your reference.

Please take necessary step to get the sidewalk lights on Bates road, Alpharetta.

    Thank you in advance

  • 4587-4633 Webb Bridge Road Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
It is wonderful that the sidewalk across from the Webb Bridge Post Office has reopened after construction, but as you approach the new crosswalk, a curb rises into your path as a tripping hazard.
