Now that the high school has closed their parking lot cars are parking next to the fence preventing it from being a two way street. Very dangerous driving conditions.

Traffic light does not give time to allow enough cars to turn into Southbridge Parkway. Requesting the light be turned into a turn on yellow, or allow more time for the light to be green to allow cars to turn. I think it should allow turn on yellow blinking arrow because the other side is allowed to do this. This light problem often causes the traffic to back up, blocking cars from continuing on Old Milton Parkway.

The roads in our neighborhood were paved recently so everything was level. There is a 2 foot diameter circle in the road near the curb that is sinking. It is deep enough that water now pools in it. The sidewalk near this part of the road is sinking as well. When I drive on this part of the road, it feels like a speed bump and it should be flat.

Yesterday and Sunday - Foe Killer creek has flooded. Sunday I can understand - lots of rain. Yesterday (7/18) was a normal thunder storm but it flooded. Water looked like a lot of construction run off - which is not normal. Don't know if new drainage work on Mayfield Place entrance is the cause. I also know there is construction off of Hopewelland Vaughan - which is the source of the creek

Can we have someone come and clean up this debris? It’s been there for a little while.

Please paint guiding traffic lines on the southbound lanes of hwy 9 crossing old Milton. The street goes slightly up hill, and I have had several close calls with other motorists that do not know that the lanes veer slightly left on the other side of the intersection.

Lawn getting overgrown, especially in backyard. This can cause a haven for snakes and other animals. Neighbors are complaining and we are not sure if house is vacant or not.

This noise complaint regards the July 23rd concert noise.
Although I live about 3 miles away, the throbbing base noise is absurdly loud. I cannot imagine how bad it must be for people living closer. This was around 8 to 9 PM. I needed ear plugs to help me get to sleep. I get up at 4:30 AM, so I go to sleep pretty early. Why must these concerts be so loud?

1 Norcross Street Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
At 730PM on Thursday, August 23, I attempted to shop at the Publix location bounded by Haynes Bridge and Hwy 9. Due to the Mayors Challenge Run, the City parking deck was closed.
As it was Thursday evening, a prime restaurant roaming night in downtown Alpharetta, and Food Truck Night, there were numerous vehicles in downtown, all seeking a place to park. Since the deck was closed, hundreds of cars ended up parked in the Publix shopping center lot, leaving less than 10 spaces for customers of the store.
When I inquired at Publix why they did not contact someone with the City, they enlightened me that the City of Alpharetta had already designated all of its officers to the Mayor’s Challenge, leaving none for off-duty patrol of the shopping center lot. Moreover, they stated that the City of Alpharetta would not allow Publix to hire other officers from other jurisdictions to cover the lot patrol. As a result, cars were parked all over the lot, some narrowing pass through lanes to one car width.
Point in fact, 2 City of Alpharetta patrol cars were parked in the back lot of Publix at the time – only adding to the reduction of parking capacity. As official vehicles, couldn’t they have parked somewhere else???
This evening appeared to be a most unfriendly approach to downtown businesses and citizens – cutting off parking access, not providing support to a local business that was taken advantage of – all for the Mayor’s Challenge. Perhaps someone can re-think these events in the future to insure that Alpharetta can support it citizens, its businesses, and its Mayor without negatively impacting anyone.

12300 Morris Road Alpharetta Georgia - Alpharetta
I have asked on numerous occasions for someone to check this intersection. One car can take a left onto Webb Bridge Road from Morris Rd at a time. The turn arrow is about 1 minute long which is irrelevant because Webb Bridge is so back up from the intersections at Webb Bridge and Westside Parkway. The light is way too long for traffic coming from NorthPoint/Webb Bridge towards Morris/Webb Bridge that by the time the light changes for traffic turning left from Morris to Webb Bridge that everyone is at a complete stand still waiting on the next intersection light to change that the one car that can turn is sitting out in the middle of the intersection.Which makes the on coming traffic that is heading towards Old Milton Parkway from Morris Road angry but we have no choice but to sit out in the middle or else not one car will turn EVER. It takes 15-20 min for 5-8 cars to take a left at that intersection. Something has to be changed to fix this issue. This issue begins around 4:30 in the afternoon and goes on till after 6pm.

If you are traveling by sidewalk between Jones Bridge and Kimball Bridge on Water Rd, you will be forced to cross the street at very dangerous locations. There is also a substation under repair which limits sidewalk availability as well.

The city needs to provide decent sidewalks on Waters Road!
