1161-1173 Rucker Rd Alpharetta, GA 30004, USA - Alpharetta
There is no side walk from the bridge up until the spring gate subdivision (approximately 700 feet). At this point the side walk begins on the other side of the road.
Due to the lack of sidewalk, there are many adults and children alike are crossing the 700 feet pass by either walking on the road itself or by walking 2-3 inches away from the road. This is incredibly dangerous for the pedestrian as well as the drivers on Rucker St. I along with many drivers have had to swerve at 35mph after seeing a pedestrian precariously crossing this area only a few inches from the road. Pedestrians wanting to simply enjoy a morning or evening walk place themselves in mortal peril by crossing this pass. By creating a break in sidewalk, we have in essence segregated the two communities living on either side and significantly discouraged them from walking towards the other side.
Connect the existing side walk from before the bridge with the existing sidewalk 200 feet past Harris road. By connecting the two, you will ensure that drivers and pedestrians can coexist safely AND that pedestrians will not have to cross the road after the bridge and jaywalk unnecessarily.
5700 Windward Parkway Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
When we go Northbound off of the I-400 ramp, to make a left to go west to Windward Parkway, its not at all clear what the lane demarcations are as you make that left. Please consider re-striping the lanes.
703 N Main St Alpharetta, GA 30004, USA - AlpharettaNeed Left-Hand turn signal to Henderson Parkway from Alpharetta Hwy.
Clairmonte Ave Alpharetta, Georgia - AlpharettaI wasn't sure what the best issue title is, but please look at the intersection of North Point Drive and North Point Court. There are traffic accidents/injuries there weekly! Its a very dangerous intersection. Any chance, that you can make the holiday traffic pattern for that intersection year round? Basically, that means no left tern allowed from N. Point Drive to N. Point Ct. They have to go to the next possible left turn about 50 yrds down and come back. Thank you for considering this safety request.
10900 Westside Parkway Alpharetta, GA 30009, Alpharetta, Georgia - AlpharettaPreviously reported http://seeclickfix.com/issues/1228417 remains an issue. Maybe the left turn needs to be a green arrow that becomes solid red. Drivers making the left turn into Sanctuary Park are not obeying the left turn signal and continue to make left turns on green as though they have the right of way. This is very dangerous.

1745 Bates Rd Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA - Alpharetta
The builder (Sharp Residential) who is building new homes on Bates Rd didn't add side walk lights.
We the home owners reported multiple times to have side walk lights installed as it gets dark early in winter and is not safe for kids and elders to walk in dark and home owners on Bates road should walk couple of blocks to get to common mailboxes. we reported early fall last year, but no action taken from the builder.
Since HOA still managed by the builder they are not helping either in this regard.
We are reaching out to you the city to take necessary steps to notify the builder as it is violation of city code to not have side walk lights installed before selling the houses.
I am adding the Citi muni codes for your reference.
Please take necessary step to get the sidewalk lights on Bates road, Alpharetta.
Thank you in advance
10245-10257 Waters Road Alpharetta, Georgia - AlpharettaTraveling between Jones Bridge and Kimball Bridge is dangerous because of the lack of sidewalks. You must cross without crosswalks at least twice to go to parks, shopping or elementary schools. There are over 1000 homes off Waters Rd impacted by this lack of sidewalks. How can the community organize to complete these small sections of missing sidewalks and improve the safety of our community?
1665 Bates Rd Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA - AlpharettaWe live on 1665 Bates Road. The neighboring empty lot designated as Lot 44, Hearthstone Subdivision by Sharpe has dense vegetation. We have been diligent with mosquito control on our lot but see swarms of mosquitoes in the neighboring lot flying around in the dense vegetation. Given the profound health hazards brought upon by the mosquitoes, with West Nile and so forth, we are requesting your help to get the neighboring lot cleared off the dense vegetation. Thank you kindly.
Webb Bridge Rd At Westside Pkwy Alpharetta, Georgia - AlpharettaEast bound Webb Bridge Rd at Westside Parkway
Green arrow signal for turning left onto Westside Pkwy headed north no longer is triggered when there is a car in the turning lane.
West bound traffic on Webb Bridge always gets the greeen arrow for both turning lane and thru lane.
Main Street New Pedestrian Red Flashing Lights Alpharetta, GA - Alpharetta
The new lights by Smoke Jack are a great safety addition. However the sign message to drivers needs to be revised.
When the pedestrian activates the lights and the lights go red, all vehicls are to stop. That is clear. However, it is my understanding that once the lights turn to flashing red vehicls are free to continue travel as long as pedestrians are not present in the crosswalk. There are no sign instructions to drivers that they may proceed once the crosswalk is cleared.
New signs need to be errected to give guidance to drivers so that vehicls do not stack up while waiting for the flashing red lights to stop yet the crosswalk has long been cleared.
460 Kirkstall Trail Alpharetta, Georgia - AlpharettaThis house has the neighbors up in arms! The unregistered truck is just the tip of the iceberg. The owner has for several years now, refused to keep up the landscaping, and he has trash all over the property. There is an unused aquarium and unkempt pond on the property which are breeding grounds for thousands of mosquitoes. The garbage is always spilling over and just left there. The smell is overwhelming. Uncut grass, knee high weeds and just in general the dilapidated condition of the house brings down the value of homes in the culdesac and some of the conditions are dangerous, such as the mosquito issue, as well as the pile of rotting bamboo in the back which has rodents living in it. The HOA is aware of the situation, but putting a lien on the house doesn't make the situation better for those of us who have to look at it and deal with it now!!! HELP!!!
