The trash behind 3001 E Broad St is overflowing. This situation is no less than disgusting and a neighborhood hazard. I don't think complies to any standard established with bulk pickups. Pleas cite the property owner.
201-215 North 29th Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
Trash cans are left on the sidewalk all week on 29th St. between Broad and Grace Streets. Odor comes from cans, especially in summer months. The sidewalks, which are adjacent to Chimborazo Playground and on the way to Libby Hill, see much foot traffic, and passersby sometimes discard food and pet waste into recycle cans and trash cans. This has been reported to Richmond DPW 5 times since August 2015 with no action taken.
Been asking since April for the city to have owners do something to repair/paint the exterior of this house with no response except- inspector working with owners. Siding is rotten, paint peeling, spliting and could be dangerous if splitting pieces fall. Chanel 12 reporter Matt McClellan is interested in doing a piece for the 6:00 news, so that will be the route I will now take since the city isn't doing anything. I'm very very disappointed that the city doesn't seem to care about our historical homes in the oldest neighborhood there is!
A large tree on city property located in front of 2714 E Broad is leaning over Broad St. Appears to be gradually uprooting from its sidewalk location & becoming more likely to fall. To fully appreciate the angle, view it from 27th & Broad.
3113 E. Broad Street continues to be a nuisance to the neighborhood. Two months ago the owner had the flooring in the deck taken off and then put up plywood with a "no trespassing" sign. All the debris from the deck was thrown in the side yard. This has been like this for two months now. see photos
