Notified About

  • 217 N 28th St Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
Been asking since April for the city to have owners do something to repair/paint the exterior of this house with no response except- inspector working with owners. Siding is rotten, paint peeling, spliting and could be dangerous if splitting pieces fall. Chanel 12 reporter Matt McClellan is interested in doing a piece for the 6:00 news, so that will be the route I will now take since the city isn't doing anything. I'm very very disappointed that the city doesn't seem to care about our historical homes in the oldest neighborhood there is!
  • 3113 E Marshall St Richmond, VA 23223, USA - Church Hill
The sidewalk on the southside of Marshall street on this block is almost totally covered with grass/weeds. Please remove this and expose the sidewalk that exists there.
  • 3113 East Broad Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
House is clearly condemned. Front porch roof and foundation presents clear public danger.
  • 3001 E Broad St Richmond, VA - Church Hill
The owner of 3001 E Broad Street cut down trees on his own property and then pulled them across the alley and dumped them on city property--Chimborazo Playground. This property owner should be cited and fined for illegal dumping- littering, etc. This is ridiculous!
  • 304 North 31st Street Richmond, VA 23223, USA - Church Hill
This car has been parked outside our side yard fence for weeks without moving. It is technically parked in a driveway. I would like someone to look into if it is abandoned or stolen.
  • Potholes Acknowledged
Alley Between 25th And 26th Off Broad - Church Hill
4 large potholes in alley off Broad St close to Proper Pie.
  • 3111 E. Broad Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill

3111 E. Broad Street continues to be a nuisance.

The grass is currently overgrown and needs to be cut.

There is no decking on the front porch and the porch structural members are hanging on by threads of wood. There are numerous broken windows on both the front and the back of the house. There is an opening into the crawl space in the front of the house that is wide open. No doubt animals are going in and out of the house.

I have reported this house to the city numerous times yet nothing ever seems to happen to correct the situation. The response is constantly that there is an ongoing investigation. How many years is it going to take to get the city to take actions on obvious code violation?

  • PERMITS?? Archived
    N. 27th And East Marshall Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
Someone is apparently doing work in 2 corner buildings (the two that are not Dutch & Co or WPA Bakery), but I do not see any permits. The city says they are different owners, but do not know about the work that is going on. Does anyone know what is going on there? The one building (WE cnr) flooded this past weekend and there is a big ditch dug to the north side of the building... There is also someone living upstairs, but the door sign says it is condemned. Is anyone else worried about this situation?
  • 401 North 27th Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
In the back of the building, a lot of weekend work. Doesn't look like any permits were pulled.
  • 319 N. 25th Street Church Hill, VA - Church Hill
Whenever I walk by this dog establishment I hear constant dog barking and whining at all times of the day. Someone explained to me that boarding places like this one are actually required by zoning ordinance to be sound proof, so that you cannot hear animal noises from outside - as a local neighbor hearing these sounds is aggravating and riles up my dogs who are quiet in our house just across the street - shouldn't something be done about this violation?
  • 2824 East Broad Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
There is a port o' potty on the corner of 29TH and E. Broad St. that was left after doing road work nearly four weeks ago. Multiple phone calls to several different people have gotten no results. This problem needs to be resolved.
  • East Marshall And 27th Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
The East Marshall sidewalks at the 27th street were repaired FINALLY(!)... however, in doing so, the city cut down two trees AFTER the sidewalk was repaired and have left the unsightly mess.... They ALSO dug out the end of the alley BELOW street level and now WATER COLLECTS all over the alley and puddles??? REALLY RICHMOND??? Can we just get a project completed WITHOUT creating a new mess, please?
