  • 5-99 Chestnut Street Somerville, MA 02143, USA - Somerville
Tree on sidewalk removed. Please replace if possible
  • Medford At Somerville Ave Extension Somerville, MA - Somerville
There is no address on somerville ave ext, it is a connector underpass.
  • 81 Willow Ave Somerville, MA - Somerville
traffic has completely worn away the bike lane on Willow Ave, just before Highland Ave intersection. This makes cycling very dangerous due to crowding by drivers illegally bisecting the end of this street, leaving no room for cyclists to enter the northern half of Willow Ave.

153 Beacon St Somerville, MA 02143 - Somerville
This strip of street is like one giant pot hole... all the way up to Museum St.
  • 24 Somerville Avenue Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
At the Union Square intersection, coming from Somerville Ave to Webster Ave there are 3 lanes. The right lane is a right-turn-only lane, but drivers consistently use this to go straight onto Webster, causing a dangerous merging situation. Only the middle lane is marked as a straight lane.
  • 120 Somerville Avenue Extension Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
Out of control weed growth! Pat's used to (sporadically) trim the "plants" along this portion of Somerville Ave Extension. Now that they've moved, whose responsibility is this? The sidewalk (barely usable as it is because it's so narrow and dotted with various metal poles/boxes/hydrants) is completely impassable -- and the "sidewalk" opposite this is only about 10 inches wide.
  • The intersection and on-ramp on Washington Street, under the McGrath Highway near Union Square, is one of the most embarrassing, damaging, under-maintained main roads I've ever encountered, even by the local standards. The street is covered with horrible potholes that I'm sure contribute to thousands of dollars in tie-rod, tire, axle and other repairs for local motorists, not to mention local emergency officials. The city ought to repair this asap despite, or especially because of, the current economy.
  • Beacon St Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
There's a number of large potholes on Beacon St, primarily between Inman Square and Washington St, heading towards Porter Square. Many of these are towards the right hand side of the road where cyclists are expected to ride, but these potholes will eat a bicycle (and the rider!). I understand there may not be a lot we can do now, but something really needs to be done. Even though I know where most of these monsters are I still almost fall into them while riding up Beacon St.
  • Somerville Community Path Somerville, Massachusetts - Somerville
The asphalt of the Community Path between Cedar and Willow is looking pretty cracked and worn. It needs probably a full repaving.
  • 124 Powder House Blvd Somerville, MA 02144 - Somerville
This intersection needs a light. Navigating the traffic here is difficult at best, and during rush hour, people don't know what to do with themselves. Traffic down Powder House has a blinking yellow, while traffic down Packard has a blinking red light. This creates a situation where Powderhouse traffic almost never stops, and Packard traffic has to wait for an extended period of time.
  • 510 Broadway Somerville, MA 02145, USA - Somerville
Does this sign still need to be up?
  • 30 Prospect Street Somerville, MA 02143, USA - Somerville
Drivers that turn left constantly change lanes in the intersection. Both left lanes can turn left. A dotted line in the intersection is needed to indicate that drivers should REMAIN in their lanes. As a cyclist I have almost been hit/run over on a WEEKLY basis by drivers changing lanes. There is not enough indication via signage or road paint to indicate that you can not change lanes mid intersection.
