1150-1198 Beach Park Blvd Foster City, CA 94404, USA - Foster City
Thanks for building the new park alongside Beach Park Blvd. However, there is no wheelchair or bicycle access from the street at either entrance. There are only regular height curbs. Why build such a nice space that is inaccessible?
808 Magellan Lane Foster City, California - Foster City
Today around 12.25 and other days at similar times, when Kindergarten dismissal happens in Foster City elementary School, I've noticed a car almost run over an old man walking with a dog. The car taking a right turn on Edgewater coming from Beach Park. Later, after picking up my daughter from school, another car didn't stop for a child crossing with his mother taking a left from Beach Park to Edgewater. The mother was screaming and furious saying she is seeing this too many times. I have seen this happen for the third time in the past month. It is not a safe intersection, especially during school dismissal times. There are no crossing guards for Kindergarten dismissal times which makes it less safe.
Crosswalk lights and pedestrian crossing signs need to be placed at this crosswalk. Cars are constantly speeding up/down Gellert Blvd paying no attention to pedestrians waiting to cross the street. Drivers think they have the right of way and do not slow down or stop for pedestrians to cross.
1 Old Bayshore Highway Burlingame California - Millbrae
The signal light is a LONG red going South on Old Bayshore HIghway when the signal light going North towards city on Old Bayshore is a Green. This is backing up traffic on Millbrae Avenue. Why not Green in both directions? Light turns Red even if no car pulling out of Westin at 1 Old Bayshore HIghway. Please fix.
Drivers continue down Seaport in the far left lane until the NB 101 freeway entrance then cut across the right lane of Seaport into the entrance ramp. Many times I've seen and almost been a part of accidents.
Given the amount of bike commuting that takes place between RWC and palo alto along Middlefield road, it baffles me that the Bike lane simply disappears in an area of extreme auto congestion at Marsh road. Cyclists are required to jockey in a tight space between the right hand turn lane and alongside northbound traffic. I'm amazed no one has been seriously injured or killed here. Also, some decent street lighting alone middlefield road through Atherton would be appreciated by those of us on bikes.
