56 Pine St New Haven, CT - Chatham SquareThe house on the Southwest corner of Pine and Perkins St has become a drug house again (and I don't think it is pot). There is a pretty good deal of traffic there every day; the exchange of money and drugs is right in the open. Shouldn't be hard to see it in action and shut it down.

1 Grand Ave New Haven, CT - Chatham Square
Happens every day, Mr. Travers. Traffic lights in all directions turn red when the bridge swings open.
Cars, trucks, and yes, CT busses, regularly swing out of line, drive down LEFT lanes, and turn left -- or right! -- in front of other vehicles. Drivers crowd onto the bridge's onramp and block traffic to beat others in crossing the bridge when it reopens. Lots of horns, lots of yelling, lots of anger, lots of everything that happens when traffic control doesn't make sense and traffic enforcement is absent.
Can you do something about this, please? Can we get enforcement here to direct traffic in the short term -- while your office figures out a better way to control the lights?

Front Street New Haven, CT - Chatham SquareI had a package stolen off my porch on 2/6 ( the same day a hypodermic needle was on my steps). There was a man walking up and down the street that day, my neighbor went out and asked what he was doing- waiting for a ride was his answer. We were not home when this occurred. Yesterday, 3/6, I had 3 packages stolen. A man with a large backpack was seen on Front Street again yesterday. Front Street residents beware if you are having anything delivered. The window of time that the packages are stolen is less than 2 hours from delivery. I live in the block between Pine and Chatham Street.
530 Quinnipiac Ave New Haven, CT 06513, USA - Fair Haven Heights
For over a month my neighbor has been setting off fireworks. They do it almost every night of the week, and sometimes for a half hour or more.
The fireworks are being set off from the lot behind 530 Quinnipiac, as well as along the waterfront.
Connecticut General Statute 29-357 makes this illegal, as far as I can tell. I wish the police would ask the guy to stop, since I already have, and he believes he's within his rights to continue.
Grand Ave Bridge New Haven, CT 06513, USA - Chatham Square
There is supposed to be no fishing on the Grand Ave Bridge. There are signs that say "No Fishing", but they are in English and without any pictures. It is annoying enough having to walk around all the fishing poles all over the place, but on top of it there is trash everywhere. Plus, most of us do not want to step in fish guts and other fish parts. And since when is drinking alcohol on the bridge legal?
Please enforce the no fishing ordinance at this location and send Public Works, or the Parks Department, over to clean up after the @%$%^s.
