Notified About

  • Everett Road And I-90 - Albany
You cant see any road markings at any of the lights going over the bridge
  • 817 Livingston Avenue - West End
Hunter Avenue in Albany, running parallel to Central Avenue between Watervliet Avenue and Manning Blvd., is a hopelessly rutted, patched and repatched city street that carries a great deal of traffic near an elementary school, a city park, two large churches, a corner store, a Rite-Aid, a bar, a funeral home, and a major gas station / convenience store, not to mention about two dozen two-family homes. I can think of numerous two-block long stretches of city street that were paved in the last two years, affecting perhaps a dozen households each. Hunter Avenue is not on this year's list of city paving projects - can you tell us how the city decides what gets done?

  • Myrtle Ave Albany, NY, USA - Hudson Park

There is a series of potholes in the eastbound lane of this section of Myrtle Ave (heading towards swan) that is so bad that drivers routinely cross over into the westbound lane (and stay there for the length of the block) just to avoid them.

It looks like the "potholes" are from utility work, being as though they are mostly square in shape. However, it's been like this for years now. Being a 2-way section of the street, it's incredibly unsafe for drivers to have to do this and only a matter of time before something bad happens.

  • 477 Delaware Ave Albany, NY 12209, USA - Delaware Avenue
Traveling east on Whitehall Rd at the intersection with Delaware Ave in Albany, there are 2 lanes before and one lane after the intersection onto Southern Blvd. There are no indications which lane to use for going straight or turning. I have frequently seen 2 cars from both lanes jockeying to fit into the single lane of Southern Blvd. With the left or right turns onto Delaware occurring at the same time, cars are slaloming around the turning cars to go straight. There should be some signage to indicate which lane is best for which direction. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents there.
