Notified About

  • 865 Myrtle Avenue Albany, NY 12208, USA - Pine Hills
Ripped-up tarp on roof is now laying across power lines. This is sure to end well.
  • Ontario At Madison Albany, New York - Pine Hills
Cars are always allowed to park along one-way Ontario, even though it clearly says "no parking." If the city would issue parking tickets, just think how much money it would generate for the city coffers!
  • 220 West Erie Albany, New York - New Scotland

Just curious if the city will do anything at 220 West Erie. The hoarding is out of control making it difficult to even walk along the side walk. Also noticed some trash on the lot with a skunk going through it the other night.

The property is an eyesore, and in danger of more rodents and vermin being attracted to the many rotting plants and garbage, and multiple stick piles along the house.

  • Interstate 787 Albany, NY 12209, USA - Delaware Avenue
Every year the congestion is growing on the end of I-787. There needs to be better connection at the Interchange of I-87/Thruway, I-787, and US 9W, such a roundabout for all three roads, or a fly over ramp that connects I-787 directly to US 9W South, bypassing the Thruway entrance.
  • Delaware Avenue And Second Avenue Albany, New York - Delaware Avenue
Because the traffic heading from Whitehall onto Delaware Ave has a right turn arrow after cars on Delaware have received a green light, if you are heading up the hill from Second Avenue, trying to turn left on Delaware and have pulled into the intersection you can be trapped in the dangerous position of not being able to complete your turn because cars from Whitehall are still turning right, but being in the intersection as cars want to start crossing it on Delaware. This has happened to me a few times and I now try to remember to avoid approaching that intersection from that direction. But it's quite dangerous.
  • New York 85 Albany, NY 12203, USA - Buckingham Lake-Crestwood
Route 85 in the City of Albany needs to be repaved. It leads from I-90 to the colleges and hospitals. Around a year of little projects have been done, however these patches have all come up, and it is very rough! Water pools in some areas in the rain, and potholes are numerous, deep, and unmarked.
  • 122 Hackett Blvd Albany, New York - Delaware Avenue
Boy who walks dog, still not picking up the poop. Today I watched as he let the dog poop on the sidewalk and walked away leaving the waste. Just follow their foot prints you will see the pile the dog left and the boy left it. This has been going on for years, he refuses to pick up after the dog. This had been repeatably reported the lack of enforcement allows this to continue. Please enforce the law ticket or fine the family tell an adult to walk and pick up after the dog, maybe then someone will act responsibly in the family. Sick of picking up after this irresponsible kid and the lack of enforcement with this kid scoffing at the law.
  • Interstate 90 Albany, NY 12205, USA - Albany
There is a large bump in the pavement of the I-90 W Exit 5A (Corporate Woods) off-ramp that could potentially cause a loss of vehicle control.
  • Intersection Manning Blvd & Western Ave - Pine Hills
During the day, you cannot turn left onto Manning Blvd (eastbound) from Western Ave, nor can you turn left onto South Manning Blvd (westbound) from Western Ave. This is because there is no left-turn arrow at the intersection from either direction. Western Ave was just repaved and re-striped--but no turn arrows were installed. The explanation that there's "not enough room" for left-turn lanes on Western Ave doesn't wash: you don't need turn lanes. Installing left-turn arrows in both directions would allow left-lane traffic to either turn left or not. As it is, you cannot see around the 2 lanes of traffic in either direction, and you back up the left-hand lane in both directions trying to turn left, with the result that angry drivers, stopped behind you, careen around you into the right-hand lanes and speed through the intersection. There are left-turn arrows for traffic turning onto Western from both Manning and South Manning; why not on Western?
  • Missing sign Archived
Rose Court Albany, NY - Delaware Avenue
We have called the traffic engineering department to report/check on status of this issue for over 6 months, the residents of the street feel very strongly that a street sign to a main connector between Whitehall Rd and Hackett Blvd not be missing for over 6 months.
  • 159 Whitehall Road Albany/Albany, New York - Delaware Avenue
Without the traffic signal at Edgecomb and Whitehall, persons living on the Thruway side of Whitehall do not have a safe way to leave their neighborhood. There is a light at the grade school and a light at the Jr. High, but when they put in the light at the Jr. High they did not put in a left turn signal so traffic backs way up to our block. In addition, for one block the speed limit goes up to 30 from the school zone speed of 20 before going back down to the next school zone. That increased speed is centered right around Edgecomb and Whitehall! I need to cross Whitehall to get to my bus in the AM. Drivers do not stop! The other night, the bicycle patrolman tried to get the traffic to stop and they almost ran him down....bring back our light!!!
  • 21 Colvin Ave Albany, NY - Upper Washington Avenue

East side of Colvin from Chocolate Gecko to Lincoln Ave is not cleared. In front of Gecko, the sidewalk has been cleared with a plow headed in a northern direction, then stops at the corner of the building, hopelessly blocking the sidewalk.

Then mailboxes are snowed in, nobody can get to them without wading through knee high snow.

The sidewalk on the south side of Lincoln has also not been cleared.
