Since I have moved in I continue to keep getting trash in my yard. I recently looked around the surrounding yards and noticed two which had quite a bit of trash in them. Old tires, mattresses, car parts and other junk. It's gross and unsanitary. It will soon be warm and will become breeding grounds for animals and insects. I don't want anyone to get in trouble right away. I would like for them to have the chance to clean it up, but if it continues and the trash keeps appearing in my yard, something will then have to be done about it. I would go inform them myself, but don't want to risk repercussions or any harm coming to me or my dog. Thank you for your time!
fix it issue ID 1214577 originally reported 10/8. Fayetteville case # 2014-022675 by Heather Eckerd acknowledged passed to Tiffany Brisson assigned to code enforcement. 10/9 property inspected and notice placed on mail box. Since then taken removed. Tiffany wrote "work with property owner until violation has been corrected". Notice gave owner 10 days its been 2 weeks. No change in appearance of property. Maybe Fayetteville should wait til spring to get the yard mowed and shrubs cut (Sarcasm). What does it take to run a neighborhood down - unkept yards that are unsightly. What does it take for the city of Fayetteville to enforce their own ordinance and posted notice? Please fayetteville don't acknowledge a problem if your not going to fix it or follow up on it.
