  • 13 Nottingham Drive Natick, Massachusetts - Natick
Our driveway was repaired in conjunction with the sidewalk repair associated with the Sherwood neighborhood road/sidewalk repair project. Unfortunately the driveway was pitched to steeply and it causes our cars to scrape the new pavement every time we pull into and out of the driveway. We are concerned that this will damage our cars and the pavement.

Lamplight Cir/Hartford Street Natick, Massachusetts - Natick
I have two school age children that have taken to riding their bikes to school during the nice weather. I have some serious concerns about their safety when it comes to crossing Hartford street at the end of Lamplight. Their is a crosswalk their with no light system to warn cars speeding up the hill/blindcorner that it is even there. I have watch my kids cross this intersection many time since schools start and it is a terrifying experience. They sit there for 2-3 min. Till cars coming towards Framingham on Hartford finally realize they are there then the cars coming up the hill blow by them like they don't exist. They usually find an opening when there is no cars coming from the Framingham side and head across. I hold my breath every time hoping that no car comes from the Framingham side as I have just watched them speed thru that intersection time and time again as my kids sit waiting to go. Many parents in our large double courted community won't allow there kids to ride their bikes or even walk to school or friends house because of this issue. I want my kids to be independent and get exercise and just be safe enjoying riding their bikes. I'm not sure this is the right forum for this issue but there needs to be a better crosswalk signal system put in place here so kids in our neighborhood can bike and walk in safety.

Since this was repaved last week, it takes an act of God for the left turn arrow to sense a vehicle and activate. Can someone take a look please? Traffic is constantly backed up like this. And when it does activate, it's for 5 seconds.
  • 12oxford Street Natick, Massachusetts - Natick
On the corner of Oxford and Oak St., there is a home with trees and leaning fence sections that cause a severe blind spot to pedestrians and vehicles. Vehicles on Oxford turning onto Oak in either direction have to pull into oncoming traffic to see if cars are coming. Accidents are occurring yet the repairable blind spot remains. Someone is going to get severely injured. Please pull the fence and trees back on both sides of this intersection before someone is killed.

At 11pm(ish) on December 1, 2019, while clearing streets during the first "snowstorm" of the season, a snow plow driver lost control of his/her vehicle and destroyed a meaningful chunk of my mature (and not inexpensive) holly bush. Along the way, and not incidentally to this taxpaying citizen, he/she damaged 30 feet worth of town-owned curbstone and left a deep gash in the town-owned grass that borders my sidewalk. I have follow-up photos that tell the whole story of what was left post-snow-melt aftermath -- including the ankle-breaking/lawsuit-inviting hazard presented by the torn-out chunk of terrain, as well as the mitigating (and not inexpensive) measures that I took to prevent such a liability to the town. Most tragically, I have photos of the torn-up holly roots of a hedge that has served long and well as a friendly and fruit-bearing border to neighborhood passersby. I look forward to discussing this situation with the Town of Natick.
