Playground at Murphy playground has large stakes sticking out of ground for kids to trip on. Also no sand in sandpit.

Naples Road right off of Whittier has some big potholes in it that need to be fixed. We would like to emphasize how important it is to us to pave this dirt road. We pay a lot of money for taxes and this should be addressed as there are few dirt roads in the town. It is messy, there are potholes and it looks terrible and rundown when we invested into a $700k+ house. Please let us know what next steps we can do to get this road paved.

Cars are turning left from Pond Street onto Route 27 and it is extremely dangerous for all parties involved. Too much traffic in Natick these days and cars always traveling in all directions. This just needs to become a right turn only lane.

    Good afternoon -

I am a regular user of the ramp from Speen street onto RT 9 Eastbound. It probably is no news to you that there are frequency accidents on that merge as well as daily congestion resulting from people coming to a complete stop and not matching the ongoing traffic as they merge.
The reason is that there is not enough space to merge and have incoming traffic at the same time.
If I may, I have two thoughts in mind to remedy the issue, and Natick's DPW can readily implement them at very little cost:

    1. Solution 1: shortly prior to the bridge on RT9 Eastbound, draw appropriate lines to encourage the traffic to move to the left, to accommodate for the traffic merging from Speen onto RT9.

    2. Solution 2: shortly after the bridge on RT 9, draw arrows on the right lane, telling drivers on RT9 to move to the left lane due to merging traffic ahead. A bit like arrows one sees on the MassPike when the merge lane ends.

Thank you for looking into this. It's a major problem with a simple solution that can be implemented quickly.

At a catch basin in the street between 2 and 4 Victoria Circle there is a hole in the asphalt and soil washing away and making a sink hole. Needs to be filled before it gets much worse and is a safety hazard.

This area is about 600 feet from Coolidge Gardens, and many tenants shop there. Being senior housing this means many use assistive devices to help them walk, some even use wheelchairs. Between the store and the gas station this area is very busy and getting out of the parking lot in your car can be trying. I can remember my own father getting hit by a car in this same spot many years ago,he was lucky and only had scrapes and bruises. I used to live just down the street from the store and went to school at Coolidge, When it was open as one of the Jr, High Schools not only did we have Angie White as a crossing guard, we had the traffic light signaling traffic to slow to 20 mph because they were in a school zone. One of the lights was in front of my house, so I do remember and know what I'm talking about. So why can't we protect some of our most vulnerable citizens still today. There is a self activated cross light at Town Hall and I have seen them in other parts of town as well. Not only would it benefit the seniors but all the pedestrians in that area, The closest walk light is at the intersection of Rt 135 and Rt 27. It is not fair nor is it respectful of our seniors to expect them to have to go an extra distance to a cross light, especially when many of them cannot make it that far.. I hope you will give this issue serious consideration and just think you could end up saving a life.

  • 81 Oak Street Natick, Massachusetts - Natick
the traffic at Oak St & Rt 9 intersection is very heavy at rush hour times. The Oak St. light is timed so only 5-6 cars can cross over Rt 9 from North to South. could you please consider reviewing the timing of the light so that it is optimized best at peak traffic times?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cars are still allowed to turn left from Pond St. onto Rt. 27 North. One of the most dangerous and inexcusable left turns I have ever seen. Make it a right turn only lane. Please!!!!!!!!!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
