  • Six Fords Rd And Mourning Dove Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
It is incredibly hard to turn left at the corner of Six Forks and Mourning dove when headed south as there is no left turn light. There is a ballet studio in the shopping center on this corner and there is a lot of traffic on weeknights and Saturday mornings. Drivers often have to wait a couple light cycles only to get the chance to turn on red after the light has changed due to the northbound Six Forks traffic between 4-8 pm. I know the residents of the adjacent neighborhoods have fought additional traffic on Mourning Dove with the reduction of speed limits and islands added to the road. A protected left turn light on southbound Six Forks at Mourning Dove would help the many dance families that attempt this left turn several evenings a week. It may also help reduce traffic on the residential section of Mourning Dove as I know I drive all the way down Mourning Dove 4 evenings a week as a means of avoiding this stoplight.

  • 11310-11370 Leesville Road Raleigh, NC 27613, USA - Raleigh
Two lane road for Leesville Rd needs to be widened its a lot of neighborhoods in the area. There are two schools ( Sycamore Elem & St Francis) along with regular morning traffic it's ridiculous. To make matters worse a new neighborhood is being developed at the 11800 Leesville Rd block that will add to it (construction trucks then additional neighbors). At 7:45 am it's terrible something needs to be done.

Well, this really isn't an issue. Our cul de sac has spent a great deal of money ($3500. so far,) to keep our city owned street trees alive by a two year contract with Bartlett Trees. The trees were sick but are so much better! I really wish I had taken before and after photos because you would never believe these trees would still be alive, but they are. Now, it would really be great if the city would send guys out to shape up these trees just a little bit. Some of our-your- trees are bending over the sidewalks but we know we can't trim them because they are not our trees. There are still a few dead limbs that need to be removed. We will greatly appreciate any help you can give us .I really can't go back to my neighbors to ask for more money to pay Bartlett to trim our/city trees. Thank you.

In 20 years, street has never been repaved - street sinking around manhole, all blacktop is cracked, curbs are cracked and heaving in some spots from snow and ice - street is a mess - we have complained and been told time and again - its not been in the budget- yet adjacent street Foxwood was recently been repaved!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 8801 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC 27617, USA - Northwest
On the intersection of Davie and Blount Streets in downtown Raleigh, there should be a sign on the traffic light with the "no left turn" or "no right turn" symbol. We live right on this corner, and I can personally attest that many cars go the wrong way due to this missing information on the traffic light. There is a "one way" arrow, but it isn't in the right place. In fact, there are several corners downtown that need clearer signs on the traffic lights to point out one way traffic. I hope Raleigh will take care of this before someone gets hurt. Thank you.

Someone has dumped a very large pile of yard debris on a vacant lot on Brennan Drive across from Hempshire Pl. It looks very unsightly. I live at 3004 Brennan Dr. There is no exact address for the lot I am speaking of, but I have marked it on the map and it is in the City of Raleigh.

I see a number if fire hydrants in Bedford have received a new cost of paint. Who does this and what determines when & if they get painted. Many in Bedford are very faded from the sub. Thank you.
