    Hi Doug,

    I was entering Burnside Ave. from Bodwell Road this morning, when I

    was overtaken by a car going West over 50MPH (the speed limit is

    35MPH). He passed, narrowly avoiding an oncoming car.

    I frequently see situations like this, with cars coming down the

    hill at Wickham Park going over 50MPH.

    We need speed bumps on Burnside Avenue and West Middle Turnpike(top and bottom of Wickham

    Park hill) to insure than cars obey the speed limit.

    The big drain at the base of the bridge that crosses N.Main St. is clogged with plant growth. Also the bushes at the exit lane of Dunkin' Donuts is overgrown and hard to walk by and see the exiting cars.

    When trying to make a left hand turn onto Hartford Rd from West street, it is hard to see traffic coming from Keeney Street, heading towards main St.

    The people parking in the fire lanes at the Parkade is absolutely getting out of hand, someone is going to get hurt.
    SOLUTIONS: If the police can't or are not able to enforce the fire lane ordinance, appoint a person like we did on downtown Main Sttree.
