Notified About

  • Dead Skunk Acknowledged
Head Island Causeway Boston, MA - South Boston
Dead skunk in the grass, just off the sidewalk
  • East Broadway And M - South Boston
Construction in Southie continues from the summer and will go on into the Winter. Our Officers are great people but Its incredibly frustrating when they are seen on their cell phones- or chatting it up with their fellow workers and failing to pay attention to drivers-there have been numerous close calls especially with St. brigids Catholic School getting out.. This is OUR tax dollars we are paying them and it'd be nice if they paid attention ALL OF THE TIME
  • N449 Boston, MA 00 - Charlestown
the entire bridge on terminal street is a disaster, almost unusable / send comments to :
    Robert.Rottenbucher@cityofboston.gov>
  • 69 L Street Boston, MA - South Boston
The tasty burger smart car is speeding up and down the streets of Southie, blowing through stop signs. The residential streets are 25 mph unless otherwise posted. Slow down!
  • 160-170 North Washington Street Boston, Massachusetts - US Congressional District MA8

The road over the Charlestown Bridge (N. Washington St. which then becomes Rutherford Ave) would benefit from "Bicycles may use full lane" signs in both directions. See Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, sign R4-11.

Experienced cyclists on this stretch of road already use the full lane and a formal sign notifying motorists would be helpful. Inexperienced cyclists either hug the edge in what becomes a truly dangerous maneuver on the bridge or they illegally and awkwardly squeeze past pedestrians on the sidewalk (which currently has scaffolding on one side during construction work, and heavy pedestrian traffic at times on both sides).

This is not a re-design. It is a sufficiently clear-cut case that it just seems like an oversight to be handled by a replacement of signs that should have been there in the first place.

  • Other Acknowledged
230-240 M Street Boston, MA 02127, USA - South Boston
Crosswalk is not observed. No one EVER stops and it takes forever to cross
  • 105 School Street Boston, Massachusetts - Roxbury
Lack of police awareness on our part of the street. Consistent yelling during daytime and extremely music until 2-3AM at times. There can also be an excessive amount of trash, broken bottles, etc.
  • Other Acknowledged
    392 Massachusetts Avenue Boston, MA 02115, USA - Fenway-Kenmore
The traffic lights that have been installed at this crosswalk a few weeks ago still haven't been turned on. It leads to lots of confusion for drivers, who don't know if they'd supposed to stop for pedestrians or not. Please turn them on, thanks!
  • 7-11 Sheridan St Boston, MA 02130, USA - Mission Hill
Sheridan Street has been littered with graffiti tags that say "meow" and "cat-hill" up and down the street over the past few months. From mailboxes, to the retaining wall at 7 Sheridan to the side wall of "slice o Pie" pizza, stop signs and a for sale sign on the corner of Sheridan and Chestnut.
  • Cars do not yield Acknowledged
1408 William J Day Blvd Boston, MA 02127, USA - South Boston
Cars do not yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk. Those that do have other vehicles whip around them and almost hit pedestrians. This happens regulary. There is speeding, cars running red lights as well as not stopping for pedestrians in the crosswalk on a regular basis. This happens up and down Day Blvd with no traffic enforcement in sight.
  • 29-57 Utica St Boston, MA 02111, USA - Central
Utica Street appears to be sinking/collapsing creating stagnant noxious water pooling and unsafe sidewalk conditions.
