Pine St New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham Square
There are 3 tree stumps that need to be ground down I have called the parks department several times and it seems like the request has fell on deaf ears. It would be nice if the parks department could get there act together. These trees were cut down at the end of June and we are still waiting for these stumps to be removed.

54 Raynham Road New Haven, CT - East Shore

Alder Sal DeCola (ward 18) wishes to inform you that the city tree at the corner of Kneeland Rd. and Raynham Rd., has been dead for months. He reports that residents say they have been calling in to the Parks Department for the past 4 weeks to have it removed. Neighboring homeowners are very concerned that this very large tree could take down power lines and do serious property damage if it came down in a storm.

81 Rock Creek Rd New Haven , Connecticut - Amity
Need help to be shoveled out from behind large snow drifts left by snow plows. The neighborhood is comprised of 3 cul-de-sac 's and a straight away; the majority of the people are elderly and those that may be fit are very few. I just suffered a heartattack and cannot go out this year chasing behind plow drivers to guide snow removal. Previously, Honda Smith was instrumental in being able to dispatch drivers that have expertise in clearing the cul-de-sac without be laboring the residents. Please help!, if there were an emergency, I couldn't even get out the yard. God Bless and Thank you All.

1000 Grand Ave New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Downtown
The snow on the sidewalks of the Elm/Grand Street bridge is never cleared properly and the bridge is never salted. I am particularly talking about the south side. Today, the concrete was visible on other sidewalks right next to the bridge. The bridge had been shoveled but poorly. There was still an inch of snow on the walking surface. It becomes a hazard with repeated freezing and thawing, especially since it is never salted. I cross that bridge everyday going to and from work downtown. In the two previous winters I've lived in New Haven, that bridge has consistently been a challenge to cross once there is snow on the ground. It is the only place I've fallen. Please communicate with whomever is responsible for clearing the bridge that they need to do a better job. Otherwise it is a safety hazard.
