East Orange Service Request

There is a mechanical failure of a bearing, on a ventilator at the Veterans Hospital building at the end of the property near Derby Street. It's a constant high pitched scraping noise 24/7 365 days a year for over 2 years. The bearing has gotten louder over time. I have reached out several times by email with 0 results. Knowing how other VA Hospital grounds and building maintenance is provided*(i.e Basking Ridge NJ) it's totally frustrating. I'm just trying to get East Orange NJ VA Hospital to correct an ongoing issue. I'm not looking for anything more or anything less than what I know and have witnessed at other NJ VA Hospitals.

This house has a broken sewer line for a year! Raw sewage and used toilet paper leaks from the stopped up sewer line onto neighboring yards and flows down the sidewalk We have called the city and health departments multiple times

There are two massive potholes right next to each other in the middle of the road. They will cause serious damage to cars and can't be safely avoided.

This light being out is a danger to my parents and family the houses in the area is dark as if we live in the backwoods of georgia

There's a huge pothole between Kenwood and Elmwood Ave, on Harrison that if you hit it, will result in a flat tire, or two. It needs to be fixed as I blew out 2 tires

The iron partitions are not holding! While driving across my vehicle sunk down into that hole and bounced back up! Very dangerous! The exact location is Central and Munn., East Orange, NJ

Water Coming Up From The Ground; Just sits in front of driveway; called water authority; went to the office; nothing has been done to fix the problem

On or about January 2018 the gas company came to 307 N. Grove Street (between Park and 4th Avenue) to fix the gas pipe and they had dig in the street, they patched it up but with the snow plowed and the heavy traffic it had opened up and now there is a big hole, its about 2 and a half feet long. Every time a car or a truck drives by, it makes the house shake and I am afraid that if the hole gets deep enough, it may damage the gas pipe again. I have attached a few pictures of the hole for your review. I am asking to please repair the street to cover the hole.

This is to make aware and put the City of East Orange NJ on NOTICE that the Ramada Inn, physical address 120 Evergreen Pl in the State of New Jersey, in the City of East Orange contains dangerous elevators. On Friday January 31st 2014 I was stuck in the elevator at approximately 8:15PM for ten minutes. Following the elevators rough ride and clicking and shaking the elevator came to a complete stop. This is a fire hazard to the customers and people residing in the hotel. I will be requesting all documentation the building department finds in regards to the investigation. There is no way this elevator passed inspections on a yearly basis. I will also be forwarding this complaint to the State of New Jersey. I would like to be updated on all information regarding this issue, I believe Mayor Taylor has bigger problems to deal with. There is also a revolving door of prostitution going on at the Ramada Inn.
