My Beaver Hills

Seemingly every warm, or clear day this neighbor is either throwing a party or just playing loud music. The music is so loud that I might as well have the speaker in my yard. In general, they don't do it late at night, but there are some days when I want some reasonably quiet time to work in the yard and enjoy the day.... I wouldn't care if it was once a month, but this is constant, not to mention they either play 95.7 or something that sounds like it's straight out of a bad 80s @#$%. Why must your music be so loud?

The light turning onto Whalley from Fitch only stays green for a 2-second count when it cycles following a walk signal.

Resident would like snow removed from Goffe Terrace between Ella Grasso Boulevard and Ellsworth, very dangerous on incline one side of street has pile of snow making it difficult to drive

Resident reports that sidewalk is damaged. Please inspect.

I don't know the exact address but wanted to know what is legal and what is not legal.

There is a small church in this section of Whalley that has out door sermons and concerts with speakers and all. Sometimes they put their speakers on the sidewalk while they have their sermons inside. I am Christian and even *I* find this incredibly disrespectful. If I lived in that block I would be livid. But even as a passer-by this is bothersome.

Its one thing to invite people inside and listen but to force others to listen to sermons and concerts is a bit much!

Is this even legal? What can be done about this?

The property at 91 Osborn Avenue is a mess. The bushes are totally overgrown and are a driving hazard because you can't see around them. The grass is uncut, there is trash in the yard and the leaves are still piled everywhere from the fall. It is a total eyesore. Please clean everything up immediately!!!

Although the city keeps informing people that the emergency snow removal is completed, the Beaver Hills neighborhood has not seen a plow since a week ago Monday! Osborn Ave., Goffe St., and many others still have only one lane plowed and it is dangerous to drive on these roads. Some cars were parked in the cleared lane on Osborn Ave. yesterday, making it almost impossible to get by. Please do not tell us the work has been completed. Public Works: drive through this neighborhood and see for yourselves.
