My Beaver Hills

Traffic lights should be timed so that they correspond to the posted speed limit. Meaning, that if you are driving the speed limit, you would get most, if not all GREEN lights. Currently, the opposite seems to be true. This seems to encourage speeding and road rage.

How long must the neighborhood suffer before the fence is fixed? Who do we need to contact if it isn't the city?

The city makes a parking ban so that no one can park on the odd side of the street, so we all move to the even side, but then you don't plow the odd side! If we've all moved, the plow should go thru and plow all the parking spaces on the odd side. That way we can move back when the ban is lifted. All the residents have been fighting for open spots on North Parkway. I had to parallel park at the tips of two adjacent parking spots on the odd side once the ban was lifted because there are no open spots and you DID NOT PLOW THE ODD SIDE. Don't ask us to move if you're not going to plow out the spaces.

The intersection of Whalley and West Park has misleading traffic lanes. There are 3 lanes of traffic that shift over in front of Edgewood park but the way the lanes shift often confuse the middle lane and left lanes of traffic. The traffic in the middle lane often drifts into the left lane and almost causing cars to collide or stop suddenly. Perhaps the city could either continue traffic lines across the interception or come up with a better solution. The intersection is heavily used because Fountain st merges into that intersection.

Resident was observed pushing yard debris down slope onto sidewalk. Sidewalk now completely covered.

I have seen people on the first floor smoking marajaunia on the porch. Drug dealers stopping by to drop off drugs. There is someone who comes by every morning a rings the door bell or sits on the porch waiting for the tenent to come out.

There is a dangerous-looking tree outside 15 Roydon Road - it is very near powerlines and is leaning towards the house. Please remove it, thank you.

Nice weather, here come the losers who could care less about anyone's safety, peace and quiet.

People drive way to fast down the streets in the Beaver Hill neighborhood, and sometimes ignore the stop signs. A lot of people use these streets as a pass-through from Goffe to Crescent, but some are residents. A muscle car was racing up and down Bellevue and Colony the other evening! Squealing tires and everything. As it continues to get warmer, there will be more children playing outside. Lets fix this. Maybe the NHPD can put up one of those radar speed signs or something.

Our ward was promised a traffic circle at the intersections of Crescent Stree and Munson where Glen and Winthrop also end. It is time to get that constructed as Crescent St. has become a speedway where a fatal accident could occur at any time. Also, there should be a bike route along Crescent Street from Goffee to the SCSU campus. A bike lane would be a perfect aditon after the traffic calming circle is completed.
