My Beaver Hills

Two tractor trailers were parked between Blake and Whalley on Saturday. One of them is a refrigerated truck and it appeared to be idling. When I walked by 4 hours later it was still there and idling. Last night (Tuesday) I was out walking and amazingly the trust was still there and idling.

Apart and aside from the fact that it is illegal for tractor trailers to be parked there, this is also a health menace in a city with high rates of asthma. Truck is Midwest Refrigerated Tansport, USDOT 1772901 Milwaukee, WI There is another number on the hood 282799

The other truck (which was moved) is owned by D. F. Carriers, Lowell MA 978-995-8926 US. DOT # 2167461 VIN HSJA8904

This is become the new norm for the people who live along the section of diamond street to park their vehicles on the public sidewalk forcing myself and my dog to walk in the street with the oncoming cars to fly around the corner we almost were hit today there are four car is currently parked there at 6:18 PM on Tuesday I would like to see this addressed it’s become an ongoing issue and it’s become a major problem where people are almost getting hit and miss these intersections with in the square block

A SEPERATE LEFT TURN SIGNAL IS DESPERATELY NEEDED AT BLAKE & FITCH STREETS IN NEW HAVEN, CT. AT TIMES, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AT FITCH BECAUSE OF THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC THROUGH BLAKE STREET. PLEASE RESOLVE.

Mayhem going south on Ella t. Grasso crossing Whalley. Cars and pedestrians disobey the signal. Witnessed 3 cars blow threw a ref light and a man jaywalk diagonally. Please police this intersection before lives are lost.

Is this house abandoned? The front roof has caved in allowing entry to all weather and wildlife.

Tree is dead and rotting
Large mushrooms are growing all over it

Furniture on the tree line South West corner of Ella T. Grasso where it meets Goffe Terrace. There is also a sale being conducted at that location on every weekend.. It's a business not a one off tag sale.

Another accident day on Whalley Ave. The widdening of Whalley Ave project has not improved the problem here, which is speeding! About three weeks ago there was an accident around CVS that totaled a car and missed people going to work. The lady driving the car was obviously going faster than 35 mph. Someone has to look at this before another there is another accident.

People are still parking in the NO PARKING area across from Beecher School on Jewel St. I have reported this many times and have talked to Doug Hausladen and Richard Furlow but nothing changes. I know the school buses will someday be re-routed to the back of the school but who knows when. AND, that will not prevent people from parking in the NO PARKING area across from the school. At least put orange cones there if you won't put a permanent barrier, such as a curbstone, there. On occasion, there is a parking officer there to give out tickets but not often enough. When the school buses are on Jewel St. and cones are put in front of the school to make the buses' territory there is only room for one car to travel on the street due to the errant parking cars. Why won't this be taken care of?

There are several bins on whittlesey and blake that are filled with trash but the trash men wont empty them because they are in recycling bins. That is NOT the residents fault, there should be less recycling bins and more waste bins. There arent too many people who are actually recycling, EVERYBODY has trash. So now these bins are gonna sit until when, someone knocks them over and there is trash everywhere ???

Large yellow dumpster has been on the street for about a month now and is overflowing with trash and building materials. There is trash all over the sidewalk and grass strip, and it is starting to fall into the street. The dumpster is also sticking out into the travel lane partially blocking the street.
