Notified About

  • 5-7 Cedar St Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge
Cars routinely drive over the sidewalk from the small parking lot here to get onto Cedar St which extremely dangerous for all road users. You can see in these photos the tire tracks. Can metal bollards be installed to prevent this?
  • 23 Cushing St Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - Cambridge
Someone has painted parking stalls, lane striping, and directional arrows near the intersection of Cushing and Belmont streets.
  • 6th St Cambridge, MA, USA - East Cambridge
I find it incredibly hard to find parking on 6th St as residents are using space savers (chairs, stools, trash can) to reserve shoveled parking spots.
  • 16 Trowbridge St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-Cambridge
There are delivery vehicles, moving trucks, uber/lyft cars and residents parking on the bike lane in Trowbridge Street on a daily basis forcing bikes to enter dangerous traffic. How/where can we submit a request to dedicate 2 or 4 parking spots in Trowbridge street permanently as loading zone? I think this is the only way to solves this dangerous situation in the long run.
  • 295 Windsor St. #4, Cambridge, Massachusetts - The Port
The corner of Windsor and Hampshire Streets is a hot spot for cyclists and a dense, active space compared to the average residential street--and there is nowhere near enough space allocated for locking up bicycles. There are only two bike racks in proximity to the corner, which together accommodate a maximum of four bicycles. Multiple signposts serve as auxiliary bike parking, but those are usually full as well, leaving cyclists to lock their bicycles to the fence in front of the apartment building at 295 Windsor St. I am requesting the installation of an additional two-bicycle rack or (preferably) an on-street bicycle parking stall in front of 295 Windsor St. to alleviate the bicycle parking congestion.
  • 1501 Cambridge St Cambridge, MA 02139, USA - Mid-Cambridge
Cars and delivery vehicles pose a perpetual danger to cyclists and motorists by using the bike lane as a temporary parking space. Not only do bicyclists have to merge into traffic, but vehicles often have to cross the stripe into oncoming traffic to go around the violating vehicle. Hazard lights shouldn't get you out of breaking the law and endangering your neighbors.
  • 35 Cambridgepark Dr Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
The same cars parked in this bike lane as are parked in the bike lane every morning! Why isn't there ever any ticketing here?
  • 35 Berkshire St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - Wellington-Harrington
The earth walls of the foundation recently dug (and abandoned due to COVID-19) at 35 Berkshire St are eroding underneath the adjacent sidewalk (pictured) and parking lot access road. I don't know how close either are to collapsing, but it seems like a serious hazard.
  • Alewife Station Access Road Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge

    Northbound of two-way (T station side) before one-way to Rte 2/Rte 16:

Cars constantly use the bike lane here. I'm in the designated car lane every day and I see cars coming down this street or pulling out of the T station parking lot into the bike lane.

The traffic is always awful here, especially now that there is construction on the one-way section going to the highway. HOWEVER, that is no excuse for cars to use the bike lane. I don't know how this can be fixed, but I really don't want a cyclist getting clipped -- or worse -- at this spot! Maybe some anchored flexible traffic delineators would do the trick?

  • 20 Gray St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
This "no parking" sign was stapled directly on to our house -- the sign should not be stapled to private property.
  • 107 Otis Street Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
Illegal curb cut between 105 & 107 Otis Street. Resident placed non-cambridge issues "no parking" sign on non-conforming driveway/curb cut.
