2518-2598 Kensington Avenue Richmond, Virginia - The Fan
Several months (possibly a year) ago, there was construction done at the intersection of Kensington and Robinson that resulted in a steel plate covering both lanes of Kensington. The first problem is this shoddy 'repair' job that I have to avoid on a daily basis. The second is that now there appears to be a sinkhole forming/collapsing in the westbound lane of Kensington. Whenever I hit it, it causes my ABS to engage as I approach the intersection.
The alley behind 9, 11, 13 and 15 is used to access garages. There is a lower elevation right off the main alley causing a puddling effect which constantly stays wet and breeds mosquitos. Is there a way to grade gravel there to prevent this from getting larger as vehicular traffic will continue to drive through it?
