Napagbigyang-alam Tungkol

  • 1518 Webster St Alameda, California - Alameda
Does Wescafe have a permit to block the *public* parklet bench seating area with all their tables and chairs? This is a public area for sitting not an extension of their restaurant. I reported this before, and public works closed it claiming "The property owner has been notified." I have attached a photo that they are still placing their tables on public spots, so the owner may know, but apparently doesn't care.
  • 1301-1315 Crown Drive Alameda, CA 94501, USA - Alameda
Uneven path creates a trip hazard and a crash hazard for cyclists
  • 1440-1498 8th Street Alameda, California - Alameda
During rush hour, cars moving south on 8th across the Santa Clara constantly run the light and block the intersection when the light turns red. I see this several times a week. It creates a dangerous situation for pedestrians, as well as E/W traffic on Santa Clara.
  • 1435 Webster Alameda, California - Alameda
The public seating area at 1435 Webster Street is littered with dozens of cigarette butts.
  • 1550 5th Street Alameda, California - Alameda
The corner store at Lincoln and 5th seems to be the meeting spot for some interested folks. I can't say for sure that there are "drug deals," but what i can say is that there are number of times where there is a quick exchange of cash with a quick exchange of something..Also, there are quite a few just "visiting" car sittings.. Meaning that a car waits for quite sometime and then someone jumps in real quick and then out again..
  • Broadway & San Jose Ave Alameda, CA - Alameda
Pedestrians crossing Broadway at San Jose are are particularly endangered. School children are crossing in the early morning and late afternoons and anyone crossing at night face the hazard of darkness. While I don't believe traffic signals nor a 4-way stop is warranted, I do believe some kind of overhead yellow flashing signals (NOT in-ground) are that would be triggered by a pedestrian wishing to cross. Also adding zebra lines leading to the crosswalk would be an additional aid. Please see the suggested signals.
  • Tilden Way Alameda, CA 94501, USA - Alameda
Homeless encampment and piles of trash behind Pet Food Express and/or Starbucks along Tilden. Human-sized Holes in cyclone fence alongside sidewalk are entry/exits, also littered with trash. Guy has a BBQ which seems like a potential fire hazard given all the garbage & pine needles around.
  • 2209 Lincoln Avenue Alameda, California - Alameda
I think there needs to be traffic calming on Lincoln Ave at the intersection with Walnut St.. There have been a number of auto accidents on this corner and speeding or confused drivers often ignore pedestrians crossing Lincoln. Drivers coming from Oak St.see the street opening to two lanes; so they speed up and drivers entering the intersection from the opposite direction seem to be distracted by the reduction to one lane after they cross Walnut. It is used quite a bit by Alameda High students and people walking to the bus sops on Santa Walnut and Santa Clara.
  • Street Signs Archived
2427 Clement Ave Alameda, California - Alameda
Add stop sign at intersection of Clement and Everett. People speed all the time down these streets. Its a blind intersection because of the tow trucks, and pedestrians do not feel safe crossing.
  • 555 Willie Stargell Ave Alameda, California - Alameda

There is often a long line of cars waiting to get to the drive through. The problem is the headlights of these cars shine directly into the eyes of the drivers who turn right onto Stargell from Webster.

Can some plants/hedges be planted to eliminate this traffic hazard?

  • 1436 Webster Street Alameda, California - Alameda

    12:22PM on a Friday night:

Every weekend, we can hear the thumping beat of the 'Island Paradise' club, and we're a block away on Page St.

Two weeks ago, people were screaming at each other at 1AM.

What can be done to reduce this noise pollution?

  • 1550 Oak St. 94501 - Alameda
The back wall of the Main Library has been hit with graffiti several times. this is the wall facing Park St.
