Standing puddles of water / ice ArchivedWhalley And Norton New Haven, CT - EdgewoodI posted this issue before. The city replied that when they inspected, the ice was gone, and that they would monitor the site. The standing water puddles are back again from the rain. Overnight, if it is cold enough, this will turn to ice, which means that pedestrians cannot safely walk onto and off the sidewalk, and anyone catching the B bus might fall and slip on the ice at the bus stop. This is a chronic problem at this corner, for a very long time. Storms drains need to be cleared of leaves. This is in front of Wells Fargo on Whalley, and extends around the corner on Norton.
