Notified About

  • Potholes Archived
Lincoln Hwy Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA - Poplar Grove
Series of potholes and rough road as you are merging from I-215 onto I-80 West. It's been getting worse over the months and becomes very difficult to dodge - especially when there's traffic. Damage may have be done to my vehicle (it's stock, but still low-profile with tight suspension and low-profile tires). Please address ASAP.
  • Foothill Drive And 1300 South Salt Lake City, Utah - Bonneville Hills
My apologies for bothering you with a relatively mundane traffic issue, but I drive my kids to school each weekday, and almost without fail, cars block the intersection (facing northbound) on Foothill Drive and 1300 S. making it difficult for those heading west to make the short light. Not sure that a "Do Not Block Intersection" sign would make any significant difference, but might be worth trying? : )

Belt Route Salt Lake City, Utah - Glendale
Northbound and Southbound on I-215. There is an overpass just to the North of the California Avenue exit where the transition seams are extremely bad. This would be in all lanes both going south and north. Please see what you can do about this. It is so bad it could damage front ends on cars and make them loose control of the vehicle.
    Thank you
  • Foothill Dr Salt Lake City, Utah - Bonneville Hills
Light at Foothill and 1300 S. Sat through 5 cycles to turn east on 1300 S into St. Mary's with no turn arrow. Finally I made a left on a red light. Very dangerous.
  • Pothole Archived
E Veterans Memorial Hwy Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA - Poplar Grove
100 yards or so South of the I80E/I15S junction. Spans across at least two lanes. Road deterioration with exposed rebar. Dangerously rough for stiff suspension vehicles.

I-80 Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA - Poplar Grove
Two potholes on the right lane between the merge from north temple and the exit to the airport.
  • Pothole Archived
East Veterans Memorial Highway Salt Lake City, Utah - Poplar Grove
This is just after I-80 from the airport meets with I-15 and before the Southbound 600 S. traffic meet with I-15. Whole middle lanes at a seam between the two road surfaces have potholes. (Gave me a flat tire.)
  • Pothole Archived
Belt Route Salt Lake City, Utah - Poplar Grove
Crossing all lanes, where two joints come together. Big holes creating nasty jolting at high speeds.
  • Foothill Dr @ 765 S Salt Lake City, UT 84108, USA - East Bench
Foothill Drive is SUCH a dangerous road for pedestrians! A fatal auto-pedestrian collision occured just north of my neighborhood in the last week. Young people need to cross Foothill or walk along it to get to their schools! We all must to be able to safely cross this road to get to neighborhood businesses. You HAVE to allow safety flags, improve infrastructure, increase crosswalk lighting, something, everything (!) to improve the safety of this road! You need to come to a community council meeting to hear from concerned community members and explain what you're doing.

Lincoln Hwy Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA - Poplar Grove
Several significant potholes in the right most lane and the middle lane. They are deep and pose a danger as you drive 70mph when hitting them. They're on the road that's under the bridge making it difficult to see, close to the exit lane to I-215
  • Rough Road Archived
2101 W California Ave Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA - Glendale
Three of the four lanes that are at this overpass location have extremely rough transitions at the north side of the north bound overpass. Rough enough that I am surprised that I have not blown a tire or bent a wheel when hitting the overpass to road transition in my small car.
  • 401-429 S Mario Capecchi Dr Salt Lake City, UT, 84113, USA - East Bench
The University of Utah has approximately 3 entrances to accommodate thousands of employees and students coming to campus.
Recently, a NO RIGHT TURN sign was hung at the light at Foothill and Mario Capecchi, thus it has turned this 2 lane northbound entrance into a 1 lane entrance. It is causing a huge bottle-neck problem. The merge lane is known for its fender benders and I believe that this closure will increase this problem. School will start in a few weeks and the traffic will be much heavier.
Please reconsider opening the right hand turn lane into campus. You could put a flashing yield light to alert drivers to a new cross walk and pedestrians.
