52 Throckmorton St/Main Street Freehold, NJ - FreeholdA traffic light would impact safety measures in Downtown Freehold for both motorists and pedestrians. Currently, the intersection gets jammed up and people on Throckmorton Street have trouble turning onto 537 (Main Street). A light would help improve safety here.

30-46 Throckmorton St Freehold, NJ 07728, USA - FreeholdThis intersection gets congested on a constant basis, with little to no safety with cars and pedestrians. A traffic light would help solve the
issues regarding safety and traffic congestion, even though
downtown Freehold is usually jammed up. But still, those trying
to make a left turn onto 537 from Thockmorton St. have a hard
time doing so. Please install a traffic light here!
4076-4094 Hwy 9 Freehold, NJ 07728, USA - Monmouth CountyRoute 9 is a huge road with heavy traffic, and contains
several businesses and even a few residences, as well.
More businesses though, including restaurants,
supermarkets, office complexes, stores, etc.
Route 9 has a speed limit in Manalapan and Freehold
and Marlboro of 55 MPH, which is too fast for
such a busy area with cars entering and exiting
the several businesses on the road. There are
also safety concerns with pedestrians who use
the NJ Transit bus line on Route 9, as there are
several crosswalks and people crossing Route 9
especially during rush hour. The speed limit in this area on 9
should be lowered to either 50 or perhaps 45 mph
to improve safety and have drivers slow down
and possibly save a life in this heavily developed
and huge traffic area.
