400-498 Chestnut St Ridley Park, PA 19078, USA - Ridley ParkCars speed down the 400 block of Chestnut St...after dropping their kids off at Ridley Middle School. We have estimated that cars drive @#$% fast as 60mph on a residential street with a limit of 20mph. Only a matter of time before a student walking to school is hit by a car.

Most of the residents are transients from the airport but permanent residents notice the deteriorating condition of the house.

Potholes at base of W Ridley Ave ArchivedW Chester Pike Ridley Park, PA - Ridley ParkAt the hairpin turn onto W Ridley Ave from Chester Pike, there are tons of potholes. That turn is so difficult the last thing anyone needs is potholes to dodge.
-
153 Walnut Street Ridley Park, PA 19078, USA - Ridley ParkThis intersection is dangerous because the Walnut Street traffic doesn't have a stop sign. Cars park too close to the corner of Walnut St. at Morton Ave. causing the morton ave traffic to edge into the intersection to see if there is a car coming down Walnut. This is dangerous because by the time you can see if a car is coming it is too late. There is no reason not to have a 4 way there.

Red Light Too Long OpenRidley Park PA 19078, USA - Ridley ParkThe Red light at the bottom of the hill of Hinkson Blvd to get onto Chester Pike (whether it be to make a right or a left) is over 4 and a half minutes long. There is a sign posted on the traffic light as well that there are no right turns allowed except weekends. So, a line of cars always piles up in the morning, and then when the light changes, finally!, it turns red within a 30 second time frame and you end up sitting there again for another 4 and a half minutes should you not make it. This light needs to be timed a bit better for the residents of Ridley Park or right turns need to be allowed. For the amount of taxes we pay to live in Ridley Park, we should at least be allowed to make a right turn!

2-98 E Ridley Ave Ridley Park, PA 19078, USA - Ridley ParkPLEASE Put the mirror back up so that those of us making a left off of E. Ridley Avenue onto E. Ward Avenue aren't blindsided by the cars flying over the bridge coming from E. Seller's Avenue. No one does the speed limit, and it's impossible to see any car coming from that direction unless you pull out past the stop sign on E. Ridley Ave & E. Ward into the intersection. It's a death trap, and I often fear for the safety of myself as well as other drivers and pedestrians.
