Notified About

  • 901 16th St S Arlington, VA 22202, USA - Aurora Highlands

The path that leads from the neighborhood park toward the mall and metro has a 3' diameter depression in it that collects water. You have to step into the mud to avoid the puddle when it rains. In the winter, ice forms and creates a hazard. This is a main communter path.

Walking from the 16th St. follow the path toward the park. After you go down the small slope and cross the path that runs from Joyce St to the soccer field, the depression is in front of you.

This path was recently paved, and the contractor should come back and fix the problem.

  • 1730 N. Roosevelt St. Arlington, VA - Arlington-East Falls
Near the basketball court at the end of the street, there is a small bridge that crosses over a creek. A sinkhole has developed in the Asphalt trail on the east side of the bridge. The asphalt continues to crumble, making the hole bigger, as the earth beneath the trail can be seen to be about 6" below!
  • 1400 N Courthouse Rd Arlington, VA 22201, USA - Clarendon-Courthouse
Pedestrians have the right of way AT ALL times even though this crosswalk is not associated with a stop sign or stop light. The pedestrian right of way is not marked by a sign or caution (cone, stop sign etc.) and thus, drivers blow through the crosswalk (usually with some pretty nasty looks, gestures or comments) even when pedestrians have started crossing. Drivers speed up to catch the following stop light if its green making it all the more dangerous. This crosswalk separates the huge parking lot from the courthouse/police station and you would think traffic laws would be more strictly enforced here--not so.
  • 3227-3251 Washington Blvd Arlington, VA 22201, USA - Lyon Village
Road in bad shape. Restriping necessary. And lane ID lights need to be bright enough so that you can see them in the setting sun.
  • 1200 - 2700 S Eads St Arlington, VA - Aurora Highlands
This entire stretch of S Eads St (admittedly worse from 18th Street down towards the sewage plant) is in serious need of repaving. Driving along this road is hazardous at any speed due to the holes, misalignments and bumps. Now they are tearing up part of the road, and will do doubt leave even more bumps as a result. Can Arlington County take the money they saved through their ill-advised library closings and fix this street?
  • Army Navy Dr Arlington, VA - Arlington
I travel up and down Army Navy Drive as part of my daily commute. Recently the timing of the lights has changed, causing me to sit and wait through two full lights, adding nearly five minutes to my commute. Previous to this change, if you made the first light and traveled the speed limit, you would make green lights all the way to 395. Coming home on the same street means the same wait time. It makes no sense.
  • 1533 28th St S Arlington, VA 22206, USA - Long Branch Creek
Black Toyota celiac plate VA-jhg-1496 has been left unattended and with a flat tire for almost 2 months and is parked in a manor that takes up more than one space on a street with limited spaces free.
  • N Fort Myer Dr Arlington, VA 22201, USA - Arlington
  • Pothole Archived
    S 31st Street Arlington , VA - Fairlington-Shirlington
There is an enormous pothole that is impossible to avoid hitting because it is adjacent to a speed table on 31st street. I'm afraid it will do damage to my car each time I run over it.
  • U.S. 29 Arlington, VA 22209, USA - Arlington
Green bike route sign at this corner is tagged with black marker/paint graffiti.
  • Wislon Boulevard arlington, VA - Ashton Heights
Can someone install more fencing in the median along the road outside of Ballston Mall? People are constantly running in to traffic to cross the street!
  • 3526 King Street Alexandria, VA - Fairlington-Bradlee
During the morning rush, the timing of the traffic light combination on north bound Quaker Lane when you cross W Braddock Road and King Street changed a few weeks to a month ago. I believe both the lights are now on less time letting north bound Quaker Lane traffic through. I know for sure the light when crossing King St. (especially the left turn light from Quaker to King West) is on less time. This is causing north bound Quaker to back up significantly each weekday morning. Just in the last couple of weeks, the signal cycle is taking 4-8 times, when before it was 1-3. All that is needed is to reset the timing of the lights (maybe just the King Street light is needed).
